The pool was green, cloudy. This was a vacation for me with kids. I never would have booked a place where my kid’s couldn’t swim. I have a pool and I know it takes time to get it right but it’s not hard to keep up with either. Summer you should be on top of it. Lying and trying to say it will be clear in a couple hours?

Room was extremely outdated and dirty. It needed some very thorough maintenance. Location is good just dont plan on spending any time at the actual lodge. Pool wasnt cleaned the entire time we were there.

Great location to Gruene and it's on the river! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. I found one small spider so the rooms need to be treated for insects. Coffee maker should be with frig not in the bathroom! Window seals need cleaning and the outdoor bulb needs a cover. Front desk area is sloppy and needs and nice clean eye for the guest. Right now it looks like a teenagers room. The walls had nice new paint but needed more paintings or something decorative in the bare walls. For the price it's great if you aren't too hoity-toity. Ask for them to cool the room before you arrive to eliminate the stale odor. Ac works great but vents are filthy and badly need cleaning.
