Worst VRBO Experience Ever!!!
This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with VRBO. We were schedule to come in on 3/2. The host never provided a contact number and so the only way to communicate with him was in the VRBO messaging function (should have been a red flag!) Had a flight delay and didn’t arrive until10:00 pm and the issues were immediate.
Upon arrival I walked through house trying to learn the layout/find who was sleeping where. Going into the first bedroom it was dirty. The bed unmade, sheets piled on the bed. Bathroom was also dirty, towels on the floor, trash not empty, etc. I went to the next bedroom and it was more of the same. It was clear the house hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest. The kitchen was also a mess with full trash and dirty dishes in the sink.
I emailed through VRBO’s system and didn’t get a call right away. I emailed again 5-10 min later and finally got a call. I informed the host Roi of the problem and the response was let me call the cleaning crew and see what happened. I told him we were leaving for the night and they should pay for my hotel or reimburse the night. He said he’s talk to the owner and get back to me.
Making a long story short, we returned the next day at 5:00pm, the house was still a disaster and hadn’t been cleaned. I called the host Roi again and told him we were leaving and I expected to be reimbursed. As of this writing I’ve never heard back. Don’t waste your $, stay somewhere else!!! Roi is awful and doesn’t respond. Terrible home.
