St Hildas is a lovely place to stay. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are decorated and equipped to a high standard. I took a gamble and stayed in the Las Vegas room, but fortunately it payed off and I feel like a winner!

Absolutely lovely stay, the bed was so comfortable and the suite smelt beautiful. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The Bath in our suite was such a gorgeous feature and so relaxing. We will definitely come back for a relaxing stay in a beautiful part of the country

A lovely venue with friendly staff, in a perfect location. Lovely and relaxing which is exactly what I needed. So much to do locally too, perfect excuse to come back to explore the local area further.

We stayed in the stable in the courtyard, Such a gorgeous room so clean and tidy 10/10 for the service the staff are loverly and so welcoming and very friendly. Debbie the manager couldn’t be anymore helpful. The Weather was gorgeous also. Stayed a few times now and will 100% be returning x

Great Place!

Relaxing Stay

Nice relaxing stay with super friendly staff who had a foundation of knowledge and information to ensure a pleasant stay. Good breakfast. We stayed in the Reykjavik room which was spacious and clean. The spa bath and steam shower were good selling points. Comfy bed.

Great friendly welcome from Debbie, she gave us some good advice and overall the service was excellent. For general feedback, definitely not criticism, for my convenience it would be great to have an EV charger on site. Thanks for a relaxing stay, we will definitely be back.

Wonderful host

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the experience so much. Pub down the road about 500 yards, food lovely. Bus stop immediately outside with bus every 30 mins to Whitby. The lady running it was lovely and couldn’t do enough. Continental breakfast excellent(and normally I’m not a big lover). Overall fantastic and would defo recommend

Beautiful hotel with a fabulous hostess

We stayed in the Cario suite and it was absolutely brilliant. Debbie the manager could not have been more helpful and gave us a full talk the surrounding areas and places to visit. Debbie makes herself readily available with her details in the welcome pack alongside other useful information. The hotel itself is ideally positioned for travel to the main coastal tourist towns however the village itself is charming with tea rooms and a lovely pub to keep you busy.

At the arrival at hotel they made us pay again for the room saying that the money paid through Hotels.com are pre authorization and will be returned automatically. That was not true and now the owner does not respond to calls.

We had a wonderful stay at St Hildas! My husband and I stayed in the Marrakesh accommodation. It was clean and well presented. The jacuzzi bath was a real treat. It was a little awkward to get to the taps to get it running and to get in and out of, but it was worth the effort. All the staff were great and couldn't do enough to help. We arrived late afternoon on a very wet sunday. We had tried a couple of places on the way for lunch, but everywhere was booked. The owner shared some of the local spots and we nanaged to get a table. Breakfast was good, a wide choice of items for a continental style breakfast. However, if you are gluten free, this limits you to fruit and yogurt. Soya milk is avalable in little sachets for those who are dairy free and enjoy a cuppa. I share this only for information, not to complain. We would love to visit again!
