"We spent three nights here with our two kids and had such a relaxing stay. The location is incredible, it’s right on the water in a quiet, gated community. Maybe it was the time of year, but we practically had the beach to ourselves!The surroundings feel like a wildlife sanctuary, with pelicans and all kinds of birds. We loved having coffee on the deck each morning, watching whales just offshore. It truly felt like a front row seat to nature! There’s a telescope in the home, but bring your own binoculars too.The house was comfortable and exceptionally well stocked. The kitchen was easily the best equipped we’ve ever seen in a vacation rental, making it so convenient to prepare meals. We loved the fireplace, and having a bedroom with two twin beds was perfect for our kids. The primary bathroom shower had amazing water pressure, too!We brought tennis rackets to play with the kids and loved the nicely heated pool. Entry through the gate was easy, with our reservation ready on arrival.Monterey and Carmel are about 20 minutes away, so exploring was easy, but we found ourselves wanting to spend most of our time right there. Between the peaceful surroundings, nearly empty beach, and incredible ocean views, it was the perfect place for our family to slow down and reset. There’s something really special about this place. It truly feels like a hidden gem, and we can’t wait to return!"

"The space is very comfortable and the views are amazing. The beds are very comfortable, tho if you’re short or older, bring a step stool because they are impressively tall. Bedrooms have charging ports & TVs which are very convenient. The bathrooms are showstoppers, the kitchen has most everything you need. A grill would be nice. It has high ceilings & the echo can be bothersome if you have hearing issues, but the view and effortless beach access make up for it. Would definitely stay there again. O"

"This beachfront home was perfect for our group of four, each of whom needed their own bedroom. The house is beautiful, with lovely views of the ocean waves and the dunes from the large windows and sliding glass doors. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, bathrooms, bathrooms, living room, and dining room, and it is extremely well laid out. We also enjoyed the outdoor spaces, including the deck that faces the ocean and the patio in the front of the house with couches and a table perfect for drinks and appetizers. We also appreciated the artistry and/or whimsy of the décor inside and out. And of course, we loved walking down to the beach. The location is an easy distance from Salinas (we went to the Steinbeck Center one afternoon) and Carmel (we took a tour of Robinson Jeffers' Tor House and Hawk Tower). Also, the host was extremely responsive. We have a fabulous time and we highly recommend this place!"
