BEACHFRONT Property with Room for Everyone

“Sea La Vie” is a beautifully updated property with room for everyone just STEPS away from the beach. Enjoy the gorgeous views and peaceful atmosphere. This home is located in a gated community packed with many amenities. This home boasts four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, including a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor. Three bedrooms have a king size bed in each room. The fourth bedroom has a full bed along with a twin over full bunk bed that kids will love.

The house features a full coffee bar, BBQ, washer/dryer, and stocked kitchen. There are also plenty of toys, beach gear, books and games for all ages. Relax on the front or back patio, or take a walk down the beach and soak up the ocean air. Great spot for seasonal whale watching and keep an eye out for other sea life all year long!

Perfect location to enjoy many wonderful spots in the area. Head north on Highway 1 and grab a meal at The Whole Enchilada or other restaurants in Moss Landing. Keep heading north towards Santa Cruz and Capitola. Phil's Fish Market in Castroville is also nearby! Grab your golf clubs and head south on Highway 1 to Pebble Beach or any other of the world class golf courses in the area. The Monterey Bay Aquarium on Cannery Row is an easy 20 minute drive. A few minutes further south you will find Carmel-by-the-Sea, a lovely spot packed with excellent shopping, art and dining. This beautiful area of the California coast offers something for everyone and every age. Flying in from out of state? The Monterey Regional Airport is a 20 minute drive away and the San Jose International Airport is about an hour away. No matter what brings you here, we are confident that you will enjoy every moment of your stay!

*Please note that the maximum number of overnight guests is NINE and the maximum number for a gathering on the property is TEN people, per the Monterey Dunes Colony HOA Rules. Fines are issued for exceeding these numbers.

Family vaca

Loved the activity area with pickleball, basketball, pool, etc. worked out well for kids. Very quiet area, weather wasn't great because of wind and high surf but would stay again.

Dream beach getaway

Wonderful Family Trip!

We had a terrific time on our annual family trip to Monterey Dunes. This home easily accommodated our group and was well equipped for all of our needs. Loved watching the sunset each evening! Would definitely stay here again!

Very comfortable home, well appointed, for extended family with all ages; easy walk to the beach; lovely pathways if you don’t want to get all sandy; perfect for cooking, grilling, hanging out playing games, watching movies, general family time. Easy access to Phil‘s fish house in Castroville, to Monterey Bay aquarium, and to Santa Cruz- perfect location, very peaceful, very safe gated community; nice tennis courts, pickle ball, pool and hot tub in community center. Very comfortable house. The owners have thought of everything you might need.

Moss Landing Vacation

Sea la Vie is in a beautiful location overlooking Monterey Bay. Great for a family vacation with the aquarium, Carmel and Santa Cruz all in close proximity. Plenty to keep everyone active with a great beach for long walks and beautiful sunsets. Lovely place.

Dunes Gathering

Our stay was perfect for all four families. We had a perfect time together in Gina's home: the beach was clean and private; the pool and hot tub was in good condition; she has beach chairs, towels, toys, games, and even a welcoming bottle of wine and sparkling apple juice. We will come again!

Fantastic Beach House

The view - stupendous. This home has all you need to feel at home while on vacation. Kitchen very well stocked and beds super comfortable. Plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, etc. We were three senior couples and enjoyed all but one meal at the house. You don’t want to leave. The owner’s response to questions were addressed immediately. Highly Recommend.

Private 5-Star Beach House

This is our second time staying at this property, first time under this ownership. The property is amazing and has everything provided to make for a 5-star experience in paradise. We have already booked for a longer stay next year which cant get here fast enough!

Beautiful experience

This was an awesome experience! Gina was great at communicating and the property had everything you would need to enjoy the beauty of the beach. Our kids loved all the beach toys, books, and bunk beds. We loved the giant windows and the 20 second walk to the beach - we even saw dolphins! Really loved it.

Great beach house with all the comforts of home!

Incredible ocean views and a thoughtfully curated home set the stage for a most comfortable midweek getaway. Sea-La-Vie met (and even exceeded) our expectations for a comfortable stay with a well-appointed kitchen, comfy beds and furnishings, great views of the ocean, and our attentive host, Gina. We especially enjoyed watching the waves from recliners in the sun-filled reading nook, sitting on the deck at the end of the day to catch the sunset, and an amazing view of the night sky as well! All in all, a most relaxing and rejuvenating oceanfront getaway!

Beach House Stay

The beach house is beautiful, just like the photos. We loved walking on the beach & watching the sunsets. The house was very comfortable and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our host left us a welcome gift which was very nice and we enjoyed the special greeting. Gina was awesome to work with. We would definitely recommend this property for any family getaway. Bringing in the New Year!

Incredible stay! The whole family was able to come together comfortably to bring in the new year with a breathtaking backdrop. The house is beautiful with lots of little extras. Great location. A few small maintenance issues, but otherwise outstanding. Gina was absolutely wonderful to work with!!! Very quick to respond and accommodating when possible. Above and beyond our expectation. Beautiful home on the beach

We had a great time at Sea La Vie. The house had everything we needed during our stay, and was particularly well suited for children! Our 3 year old had a great time with all the toys. We spent our days watching the waves, walking the private beach, and checking out all of the wildlife on the dunes. It’s not far at all from Carmel and Monterey. It was really fun to check out the art and outdoor seating in Carmel. We went whale watching too and saw Orchas! Would absolutely return.

Comfy Beach House

Everything was good. The house could use a bit of maintenance but definitely not a dealbreaker. The carpets had stains on them and needed to be cleaned. The walls needed to be painted. The bathroom light fixtures were resting.The laminate flooring is damaged. Again, Overall a lovely place and a good experience.

Family Christmas celebration

Beautiful beach, quiet and safe community with so many nearby activities, beautifully decorated and comfortable home with so many amenities for cooking, babycare, beach fun. Lots of games, places to relax, amazing views, and creature comforts. We did not use the tvs ( one in every room) or internetbut nice to have if needed. Boardwalk out back porch leads to large beach for long walks, sand play, shelling, and watching pelicans and shore birds. Close to monterey aquarium and phil’s fish restaurant. Hot tub was nice too. We ran out of time before we ran out of fun. My inly tip for guests may be that noise does travel to the bedrooms rather easily. So all tried to retire at the same time.
