"Beautiful hotel! The location in the medina can be difficult to navigate on your own, but the staff are very helpful in assisting with transportation. The pool, dinner, and breakfast were especially nice, making the hotel a beautiful oasis in the midst of a busy (and sometimes overwhelming) city."

"Our rooms were very good, with dodgy elevators and bath towel racks as the only areas needing improvement. The experience, however, was very stressful largely due to the travel desk managed by Salma. A transfer from Fez to Chefchouen at checkout for 3 was arranged at our request and confirmed a few days in advance via email. In reality, it had been booked as a Chefchouen excursion for 5 with no details shared. When one of our group got sick the night before, hotel reception could not contact travel company to request a 60 - 90 minute delay so that the sick traveler was fit to travel. Travel company, under the impression that it was a guided tour to Chefchouen returning to Fez the same day, was ready to call it a no show after driver waited 30 minutes. It all worked out in the end, thanks to the driver. Barcelo Fes Medina needs more reliable, competent, and communicative people to avoid such a stressful experience which probably cost a lot more."

"great property with beautifully manicured gardens and lobby , nice restaurants and food quality was top notch. be warned that like any hotel they charge on your card at check in for possible extras but ask you to pay for extras again at check out sayinh they will release your initial amount of MAD 2000, 5 days later I am still waiting for that initial deposit to be credited back into my account"

"We had such a lovely stay at the villa and genuinely enjoyed our time here. The property was exactly as described - very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It felt like a great place to unwind, and the overall atmosphere of the villa from the amazing canyon views at the back to the cute cat and horse that would come say hi during the day that made the experience even better.Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. They were always responsive, helpful, and accommodating, especially when we needed assistance with directions and arrival. Everything was handled smoothly, which made a big difference and allowed us to fully enjoy our stay without any stress.A special mention to the cook, who was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and such a highlight of our trip, it really added a unique and memorable touch to the experience. "The room was so much bigger than I expected. The staff was so helpful and always giving me new ideas and things to do and places to go. It was clean and the full kitchen was super nice to have. 100 out of 10 for hands down one of the best places to stay. They also have an art gallery right next door that was super nice."
