"I had narrowed it down to a few hotels and we landed at The Zoe. So thankful. From walking in on day one, zero complaints. They were able to accommodate early check-in and a room upgrade. All staff each day was helpful and courteous. Nice enclosed courtyard for sitting out at night. We had breakfast at the hotel, pizza and awesome dessert with chocolate lava and raspberry sauce. Food and service was superb. Daily room service. Great location. Would def stay again."

"The room was clean but the bed was very firm. The bathtub wouldn’t drain after its first use but they did fix it the next day. The breakfast was incredible. The staff were cheerful and helpful. It was in easy walking distance of everything I wanted to do while in San Francisco. I did however only had a view of the commercial air handler and roof, nothing else! That was the most disappointing, anything aside from the mechanics of the building and roof would have been appreciated. "

"The hotel is lovely, with a tasteful and stylish makeover. There are some building works happening at the front, with scaffolding around. The staff are usually helpful and attentive. The location in downtown San Francisco is generally convenient, but it does seem a bit more run down than some other areas of the city, and it is clear that the effects of the drug use and homelessness epidemic are being felt.
