It was a lovely little room close to everything. Reasonably priced even though we made reservations just days before our trip. However finding the key to the room was a bit of a challenge. Was not familiar with the lock and it took a while and a phone call to figure out how to open it. Maybe more instructions on what the lock looks like and how to open it. Otherwise it was a great stay and would go there again!

Very well located for sight-seeing and transport, clean room and friendly staff. Disappointed by the very modest breakfast which was provided in a very small and busy nearby cafe with only a croissant or muffin and coffee or juice.

This property had flimsy doorknobs and locks that did not seem secure. Our lockbox with our key in it was already set to the code to unlock which did not make us feel good. There are maybe 5 other rooms with paper thin walls. The elevator could only hold one person and was ancient. It does not have 24 hour receptionist, the Wi-Fi username did not match the information provided by the host. Host’s communication was fair. We showed up and unfortunately made other accommodations and do not complete our stay here.

La tua recensione è incredibile! In relazione al livello di sicurezza abbiamo tutte le porte con serrature, la.porta blindata per entrare in struttura, muri veri, non di carta, e videocamera quando entri in struttura, evidentemente non abbiano un poliziotto dentro la struttura tutti i giorni, non è una prigione.L'ascensore è del 1927, e come sapevi quando hai prenotato, non c'è reception 24/7, è una Guest House non un hotel. E le informazioni del WiFi le trovi in camera.La realtà è differente da ciò che hai percepito. Dovresti vivere meno on line.

Property had two sets of doors and codes to pass through which made it feel safe. Room is small and minimal but caters to the necessities. Good location near the train station and most landmarks are a 30 min walk. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Make sure you have whatsapp to be able to communicate and have full instructions!!! We did not and had a delay and condusion with checking in later in the afternoon. Bed was comfortable. Nice window and view however it can be a little nosiey. Would stay again

I would look somewhere else. It felt as though they overbooked and just passed us off. When we checked in, we were told that our room was in a nearby building. On the hotel listing, it states 8 non-smoking rooms and a list of in-room amenities (which are nowhere to be found). Walking down the hall to our room, you could taste the cigarettes in the air. The room was incredibly dusty. I found a few nail clippings on the bathroom floor and the shower was mouldy. There’s a sign in the door that basically says “old pipes, for hot water, run in for 5 minutes” but you can’t because the shower doesn’t drain fast enough and would flood the bathroom. And the AC didn’t work.

Dear Annie thanks for your review, maybe all you wrote is right, but is sure that is not in AmoRoma Suite via Volturno 2, even some time i told to my staff to clean the mould and be more carefull to the dust. Then is sure that the room is NO SMOKING, then if somebody smoke in the building, there's nothing i can do.

Gentile Martha a volte non serve nascondersi nell'anonimato e non è produttivo con le recensioni negative, chi le legge si chiederà perchè ti nascondi? evidentemente devi nascondere il tuo essere inadeguato. Hai ragione quando scrivi che sei stata per 3 ore senza acqua, solo 3 ore si sabato in quanto il gestore è intervenuto come c'è stato il disagio e nonostante l'ora tarda tutto è stato risolto. ti auguro una buona giornata

Awesome space in a great area.
Overall, the AmoRoma was a great experience. It was the last few days of three weeks in Italy and I just wanted something nice, convenient to a few attractions I had planned to see, and not super expensive. AmoRoma met my expectations, and then some. First, the good stuff. I had a street-facing room and so when I was feeling lazy I would just people watch from my window. The location is stellar. Sitting just behind the Baths of Diocletian, this b-n-b style accommodation was at the epicenter of a number of monuments, museums and restaurants. As for food, you name it and you will find it within a few minutes walk. Pizza, yup. Sushi, yup. Ethiopia, that too. Lastly, the service was great. The hostess was very attentive to my needs, was great conversation thru the breakfast rush, and gave me some snacks for my early flight since I was not going to be in house for breakfast. Now, the not so great stuff. Interior construction was going on from about 8am until 4pm, so there were times where I was walking thru plaster dust on my way to my room. It wasn't heavy labor, but it was annoying at times when I was seeking quiet time in my room during the day. Beyond that, I was satisfied with my stay. I would definitely stay there again.

Great stay!
Our stay was great, it’s a bit complicated to find the entrance of the place, it’s inside a building, 1st floor. Daniel was really nice and friendly, he provided us everything we needed, a real nice guy! Make sure to call in advance for the “free parking” otherwise it will cost you 25€ like I paid. Breakfast was lovely!! I recommend this place for future guestsz

Amazing staffs. Room very clean and walking distance to Termini station. Just wish the mattress and pillows were a little more comfortable but overall, very impressed. The breakfast was good

Unterkunft sehr Zentral, cooler Aufzug. Typisch italienisch :) Frühstück ein Getränk Croasiant aber vollkommen ok. Zimmer veraltet aber sauber, Abfluss hat etwas muffig gerochen ansonsten für den Preis gut.

If you want comfort, don't go there
The room was comfortable enough but I was really disappointed with Hotels.com, they made me pay a price that wasn't that of the room, as per the bill shown by reception. I paid way more that I should have, and that is on top of having a very poor choice of food for breakfast, only sweets, in a different location than the hotel where there isn't any room to sit since there are so many customers. So I had to bring the food back to my room, in a yet different location from reception, where they don't have a bathroom for clients. The doors were barely closing, and the cleaners would not air the room, which was clear from the smell when I got back. Also the rooms aren't soundproof at all and people would come at all hours of the morning delivering large bag items in the hallway which was very unpractical whenever I'd want to go out in the morning. Needless to say it was one of my worst hotel experiences.

Hyggelig liten Hotel i Roma, anbefales!
Tilgang og innsjekk er ukomplisert, rommene er rent og ryddig. Hotellet har sentral beliggenhet med gangavstand til Termini-Stasjonen. Personalet er veldig hyggelige og kan supplere med masse gode tips og anbefalinger.

Me gustó especialmente la localización. No me gustó que para desayunar hubiera que ir a la escalera de al lado, a otro hotel. Tampoco me gustó que para acceder al baño de la habitación hubiera que subir un escalón y que la ventana no cerrará bien.

シャワーからは途中から水‥夜中は水でした。固定式のシャワー嫌な人はだめでしょう。朝食はヨーロッパこんなもんでしょ。道路に面しているために、車の音気になります。

No sleep and terrible customer service
Location was good if you need access to Termini or Republica metro station. Otherwise long distance from any sights Our room (number 5) was extremely small. After quick look we noticed that "the mini bar" was actually an empty unplugged fridge as in picture. The bed was well beyond usable age and one reason for the poor night. The springs were worn out and offered only discomfort by poking into your body. The mattress had given in and you were basically sleeping in a pit with spikes. At least the sheets were clean. There was two air-con units in the room. First one was broken and the other one broke down in middle of night. This unit run loud bubbling and splashing noise. I contacted guesthouse manager with whatsapp to notify the problem around mid night. She replied and asked me to fix the problem my self by turning some valves. Now how am i supposed to do that (see picture)? This unit had no plastic covers on it and looked like some one tried to fix it already. After no sleep for whole night we went for breakfast, which was plain toast, yogurt and undrinkable bad coffee. We requested for refund three times only to receive ridiculous message that we will not get money back as we had left a bad review. The manager of guesthouse is seriously incompetent in organising accommodation and providing customer service. Do not let the price tempt you. This place is not worth staying. Take the good reviews with pint of salt.

Ospitare significa dare accoglienza a chi non vive in un determinato luogo, in particolare La parola ospitalità si fonda sull'obbligo di ricambiare un dono con un controdono. Credere che una velata intenzione dell'ospite di scrivere brutte recensione invece che pagare il soggiorno possa in quanche modo indurre chi ospita a cedere gratuitamente il soggiorno è pura fantascienza. E quando diventerai grande te ne accorgerai. ti auguro buona fortuna, ne avrai bisogno nella vita :) Hosting means giving hospitality to those who do not live in a particular place, in particular the word hospitality is based on the obligation to repay a gift with a counter-gift. Believing that a veiled intention of the guest to write a bad review instead of paying the stay can in some way induce the host to sell the stay for free is pure science fiction. And when you grow up you'll see it. I wish you good luck, you will need it in life :)

Supert hotellopphold i hjerte av Roma
Vi var 3 gutter på tur i Roma. Skulle kun være der en natt, så det var viktig for oss å finne et hotell nærme togstasjonen. AmoRoma var midt i blinken. Rene og fine rom. Servicen var helt super. Vi fikk anbefalinger om lokale gode restauranter samt reisetips. Jeg vil absolutt anbefale AmoRoma til alle som leter etter et hotell/leilighet til en god pris!

Bien placé pour les visites monuments excentrés
Très bien comme point central de visite. Un peu bruyant mais je pense qu'à Rome c'est difficile de ne pas entendre la rue et les gens car ça parle fort ;-). On a changé de logement sur la deuxième partie du voyage et c'était pire alors que nous étions dans un quartier plus classe au Vatican. Le quartier n'est pas très joli et les restaurants moins sympa qu'au Vatican mais c'est bien si on veut visiter les monuments excentrés comme les catacombes. Sinon, c'est vrai que le centre historique reste assez petit donc si vous aimez marcher, rien ne vous oblige a être dans le quartier de la Gare. Le personnel était sympa et le check-in et le check-out rapide. La wifi ne marche pas toujours et la tv n'a que peu de chaîne. Le petit déjeuner est très correct et copieux.

Very good staff!
The hotel location is close to the Train Termini with 5min walk. Also the staff is very nice and helpful, and I am deeply thankful that they send me back the souvenir that I left in the hotel room.
