"Great location right on the boardwalk. We had a top floor ocean view. It was worth the extra money. I don't think I'll ever be able to stay anywhere else. Breakfast space is very cramped. Either plan to go early or bring your meal to your room. Lots of variety and to go options."

"Only stayed one night for a quick beach trip and it was quite good for beach hotel. I don’t have high expectations for cleanliness in beach hotels… And besides the weird smell in the entrance and lobby way, it was actually quite clean. The room was really clean, the hallways smelled nice and clean. Had everything we needed, room was a good size and the staff was cool. I would definitely return here for another quick trip."

"Rideau is conveniently on the Boardwalk. It is an older facility but clean and comfortable. My initial room was on the parking lot side with no view. After a few nights I asked the front desk if any ocean front rooms were available. The owner of the hotel bent over backwards to rearrange and upgrade the upcoming reservations to accommodate my request. Her goal is to have happy customers. She’s renovating something every year. It won’t be long and this hotel will be completely upgraded. The oceanfront room was a breath of fresh air. However, it is noisier at night from Boardwalk musicians."
