Loved our stay in such a cute village part of London. The continental breakfast is the best we’ve ever had

Great place to stay. Service was good. Breakfast was awesome, with a wide range to select from. The fresh pastries being a real standout for me.

From my initial contact with the hotel, to my departure, the service provided was first class. All the staff were helpful and friendly and always had smiles on their faces. All the meals I had were fantastic, and I can highly recommend the Nachos and the Sunday Roast! The room I had (for 8 nights) was exceptional. The bed was great and very comfortable. Also, not only the staff were terrific, but the regular patrons of the hotel are exceptionally friendly and made my stay one I will remember...

Beautiful old furnished hotel in the heart of Wimbledon , would love to have another stay there

We stayed for 7 nights at the Hayden and had a brilliant time. The service was great from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a cold beer upon arrival while they got our room ready (needed during a heatwave). The room was great, good size and good ammenities. The location was close to everything and was well connected to a few train/subway options. Highly recommend. We ate a few times at the pub and the food and service was also great.

This small hotel just near Farringdon station was a fantastic option. The rooms are clean and lovely and, for London spacious. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. It is attached a pub which does great Asian food. It is super close to public transport and easy to reach from Paddington. The only things you need to be aware of are the steep stairs to access the rooms, and the fact that reception hours are linked to the pub's opening times.

This is a terrific option for a short stay in London as a tourist. Excellently presented and a more fun option than a bigger hotel, particularly in summer when you want to walk everywhere. Didn’t spend as much time in the actual pub itself but it was certainly a popular spot.

My husband and I stayed for one night and loved our stay. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by staff at the bar. We had 4 suitcases and in no time we had 4 different male staff members taking our luggage up one flight of steep stairs to our room. Later when we went downstairs to the bar we were made to feel very welcome. Couldn’t fault this property. Thank you.

Well equipped, big comfortable bedroom and bathroom with high standard of facilities in the room. Nespresso and cut water glasses were a lovely touch!

Beautiful rooms, very friendly staff, interesting building, great food and only 15 minutes from Heathrow.

The room was spacious and tastefully appointed (lovely bathroom too) and the staff were fabulous. Location was perfect with easy access to both the Underground and buses. No shortage of interesting places to eat - including the pub itself which offers a delicious asian fusion menu. We did have a problem with hot water supply to our room which unfortunately was not able to be resolved during our stay - luckily we had another room to access for showers - and we were compensated for the lack of hot...

Great location!! Offered an early check in for additional price. Room was clean and air conditioned. Would stay again!

I recently stayed with my husband for our honeymoon at Sydney House. We stayed for 9 nights and had a lovely time. The staff were all so friendly and kind, we loved chatting with them all. Breakfast was a standout - we loved the options. The bed was comfortable, and while space was a little tight this is no different to other London hotels I have stayed in. We definitely agreed we would be back based on this experience!

Friendly and helpful

Our room was very spacious and quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The restaurant was lovely and the food excellent. All staff were very helpful and friendly.
