"We stayed for the bank holiday weekend and loved the location of this property. We didn't need the car all weekend and could walk to everything in Rhosneigr. It's a comfortable house with 2 lovely lounges. We enjoyed the fact we could sit out the front and back so catch the sun if it's out! To view the sea we could sit in the upstairs bedroom. The welcome pack was fab and very much used. We like the white floorboards as gave a very light feel to the property."

"This is a great property right in the centre of Rhosneigr, it was one of the best properties we have stayed in and we have been visiting the area for a number of years. I would certainly recommend it for its layout, equipment & position."

"What a place! Location was phenomenal, direct access to the beach, view of the beach/sea and RAF Valley from not only the balcony, but also the living room, primary bedroom and all upstairs bedrooms. Comfortable and well equipped. We had a week of very warm weather for April, so much so I got a bit of sunburn, but when the heating did occasionally kick in, before I adjusted the thermostat down, I have no doubt this would be a suitable property all year round, as even mid winter, you could have the heating on and view the crashing waves from the comfort of the living room. I think the TV was on for less than a couple of hours throughout the week, total, as the scenery was far more impressive, ever changing and mesmerising. Beds were extremely comfortable, bedding excellent. The only comments I would have that aren’t wholly positive, but certainly not enough to stop me happily returning, are the spiral staircase, which I was completely aware of before I went, so use wasn’t an issue, but it was a bit wobbly/creaky, which was a little unnerving for some of the party, also we ended up hanging something off one step, to prevent banging our heads on the staircase, as we crossed the hallway. Finally, both “living floor” showers, primary en suite and family bathroom, required some mopping up after normal use, which wasn’t a major task, but long term I hope the water doesn’t cause further issues for the floor, or cieling of the floor below. Overall very happy with the property. Would recommend and intend on returning in the future."

"Myself, my partner, 4 kids and mother in law stayed at the property for a week. The house was lovely and in a great location for the shops. The bedrooms were perfect and having two lounges meant the kids could have their own tv. A few downsides to the property, no balcony door or garage key was provided so the kids could easily access these which was not ideal. The front door to the property is a twist lock which when having kids in the property was not good as our 3 year old could easily turn it and just let himself out. This did happen a few times. The Roku in the kids lounge did not work, we luckily brought our Xbox and we did notice one in the cupboard on arrival but were unsure if we could of used it as no instructions to say so. The dressing table in the main bedroom was not screwed tight enough and this came loose when my partner moved it. Overall we did have an amazing stay and I certainly would return but I do feel the above needs to be looked into especially for family’s staying at the property with young children"

"I have stayed here several times, but the bedroom had dog hairs all along the bedroom window sil. I wasnt aware animals stay there, thats not a problem but i would expect it to be cleaned thoroughly, especially as i oaid a cleaning fee,VRBO are reviewing this"

"We have been coming to Rhosneigr for the last 5 years, some times twice a year and we wish we had found kittiwake cottage sooner. It’s extremely well presented and a superb position for all amenities. Extremely comfortable, home from home and we will be booking again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday experience."

"We stayed at Cwalafila over Easter and it was both spacious and comfortable, plenty of space for everyone. Location close to beach, cafes and still quite private. Lovely property and great service from letting agent."

"As described and good communication from Elaine. Kitchen well equipped and nice touch with essentials on arrival. Rear aspect is perfect walking on to decking before the lawn and also fully enclosed.Great location with a very short walk to gorgeous beach,shops and pubs/restaurants. Great use of space making it a very sociable property if going with friends/large group. Good entertainment equipment eg. ALEXA,quality bluetooth speaker and TV. Couple of reasons why I haven’t scored a 5.Pretty uncomfortable bunk bed(which we only used one night as couldn't sleep).If you decide to use the "put me up' bed,be aware that there are no curtains or blinds on either the doors or skylights meaning would be difficult to sleep after sunrise.Lastly,and this is certainly no fault of the owner but one of the neighbours clearly has an issue with dogs. In fact shouted over the fence to 'shut up' when our dog barked at next door neighbours dog. Isn't that what dogs do?? I would certainly be annoyed at a constantly yapping dog,but really,we were out most of the day and our dog is certainly not a yappy dog.Yes,the property is dog friendly and the set up is just right,just need the rude neighbour to relocate!!"

"We had a great week in this lovely property which is much larger than we expected. It is really well appointed with everything we needed, and in a fabulous location right in the centre of the village. The only comment would be it could do with some curtains or black out blinds in the main bedroom. Would definitely recommend"
