Had a one night stay while travelling through Germany. Staff helpful and warm welcome given when checking in. Great location for getting the 10 minute train to Koblenz, rather than staying in Koblenz and driving to the city

This was the perfect spot for our family to stay. We had a spacious room for the four of us - with new furniture! The breakfasts were amazing. Everything was very clean. Parking was easy, just around the block.

The town was beautiful and quaint. The owners were extremely helpful and good breakfast. Easy to get to the town of Koblanz by bus. Lovely area.

Had a great visit with the owner. Had a potential car problem and he was willing to go to any length to get us assistance but it ended up we were ok. very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit tiny. And parking was an issue.

Perfect hotel
Amazing hotel in a perfect location. The guesthouse was built around 1700 and is your classic half timbered house, but fully modern ammeneties inside. Room #8 has a great view across rooftops to the Marksburg castle. The train station is just a few minutes walk and we got a free local train voucher for the duration of our stay. Oh.. And the restaurant is to die for!

No elevator and no help getting our luggage on the second floor( which really is a third or fourth floor baed on the number of flightsof stairs) even with us having a 3 year old and a 10 months old with us. Hotel parking was full. Wifi didn't reach our room. Bar/ restaurant closing early and room very hit with no AC. Crin not in the room when we arrived.

Safe bet for great stay
The people were great, the room was clean and exactly as described. We happened to stay during a heat wave, but the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Bad street.
We were put in the annex. Needs updating to the entire building. The room itself was decent but the location is not very nice. My wife saw a drug deal going down in broad daylight and the properties on this street are very run down. The staff was nice but I would not recommend staying here. The pics online with the nicely lit building make it look lovely. But everything around it is dilapidated.

Everything was perfect. We got special attention from the lady at the front desk, who helped us get to visit Burg Eltz. The food was delicious and special: they offer wild boar and venison among other dishes in their menu; and the restaurant itself and the staff were first class. We recommend to visit Rhens and stay at this hotel.

Good hotel for a one night stopover
We had a room in the annexe across the street from the hotel. The room was quite small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very small but completely functional. Gods stopover for 1 night while travelling through the Rhine. Dinner in the hotel very good but the service was quite slow and rather average.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our family. We stayed in a family room in the main building. We had a full size bed and a set of bunk beds for the kids. The room was modern, stylish, clean, and comfortable. The hotel has a small parking lot around the corner, and there is a large public parking lot at the end of the street just outside the city walls.

Nice hotel, great service
The hotel is right in the center of a very quiet town. Great walks around the town and along the Rhine, and the bus passes right in front to take you to Koblenz or to other towns along the river. The the breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant were very good and the owners most accommodating. A lovely find.

Lovely hotel with great family room.
I almost don't want to recommend this hotel so as to keep it quiet. Our family room (actually two adjoining rooms with shared bath) was well sized with good views. It's close to the beach, but parking could be a problem if you're in a car (there isn't a car park no matter what the website tells you!). The beds were a bit weird and not the most comfortable, but the rest of the hotel makes up for it.

Takes a bit to love it
We stayed for 5 days and in the beginning we did not like it. Parking was hard, village was not that we hoped for and there was a maze of stairs to the room. But the rooms are very comfortabel, the breakfast is perfect and the staff is very accommodating. And the village is really good located to enjoy the rest of the beautiful environment and citys like Boppart. We would go there again.

Noch nie so schlecht in einem Hotel geschlafen. Die Betten/Kissen sind sowas von hart, es ist sehr hellhörig und man kann jedes Wort des Nachbarns folgen, man hört den TV aus anderen Zimmer so deutlich als würde er im eigenen an sein. Deswegen schwierig. Positiv war das Frühstück - das war solide und hat geschmeckt. Zudem war der Service sehr freundlich. Sehr schnell vom Bahnhof zu erreichen.

Wir hatten den größeren Raum gewählt, war auch okay. Unterm Dach natürlich sehr heiß. Es stand ein Lüfter zur Verfügung, besser wäre eine Klimaanlage gewesen. Frühstück und Personal Top. Das Grill-Büfett im eigenen Restaurant war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Leider recht hohe Getränkepreise. Trotzdem würden wir wiederkommen.
