The room was very quiet despite its very central location. The service was excellent with excellent information being provided to help with my stay.
In the city centre, Queen Street Studios is in an area with good shopping. Christ Church Cathedral and Centre of New Zealand Monument are notable landmarks, and travellers looking to shop may want to visit Richmond Mall and Nelson Market. Enjoy an event or a match at Trafalgar Park, and consider making time for Natureland Zoo—a top attraction that's not to be missed.Visit our Richmond travel guide

The hotel is small, renovated and close to restaurants and cafes. The room, number 16 is large and suited us for a three night stay. We felt very comfortable. However it was an upstairs room. I wouldn’t recommend the lower rooms facing the public carpark due to a lack of privacy curtains. The hotel is still in the process of being renovated but with a few finishing touches, it will be great. It was also very good to be able to use the laundry. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.
