However, The Plough pub across the road serves tasty, albeit uncomplicated food in a convivial atmosphere. Guests certainly need to be aware that it’s a lengthy walk into the city, but this is easily overcome by using the very frequent local bus & Park & Ride services which pickup from t’other side of the street. Overall, a successful stay."
