"The property looks much better in Expedia photos than it feels in person. Rooms have been renovated but lack basic amenities for comfort.
As someone who travels frequently for work, the checkout experience was very disappointing.
The receptionist was curt and confrontational about their cash-only policy for extras under 50 euros.
This wasn't mentioned at check-in / booking and makes very little sense for Expedia customers who may have pre-paid their room.

"Wow! Das war ja wohl mal perfekt! Tolle Lage, ein sehr netter Empfang, super motiviertes und sehr nettes Personal, tolles Essen und ein hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet runden das Ganze ab. Der Innen Pool war angenehm warm und schon ab morgens um sieben geöffnet, und so groß, dass man sogar drin schwimmen konnte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, ganz klar, fünf Sterne!! "Also das Hotel ADLERS ist an bester Lage, nicht direkt in der Altstadt aber alles in Gehdistanz. Check-In war einfach, und unkompliziert. das Zimmer war sauber, ein bequemes Bett und die Sitzgelegenheit am Fenster mit dem kleinen Tisch ist super!
Das Abendessen habe ich in der Rooftop Bar genossen, sehr aufmerksame Bedienung die den Aschenbecher sofort getauschthat als Bemerkt wurde das ich Zigarre rauche und dann kam auch schon die Whisky-Karte --> TOP so geht Service, 1A!
Das Frühstückbuffet fiel dagegen eher klein aus. Das darf man jetzt nicht falsch verstehen es war alles in Ordnung aber das IBIS hat plus minus die Selbe Auswahl da hätte ich mehr erwartet. Alles in allem aber doch sehr zu empfehlen!"
