"Modern, clean hotel, spacious room, parking adjacent. Staff was very nice and helpful. Good Italian restaurant in the hotel and great food hall with many choices next door. Across the street from the Cite du Vin which is an excellent wine museum. There are a few restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. It is a short tram ride (10 minutes) to central Bordeaux, and only a 22 minute drive to the airport. "

"A very nice hotel close to Cite de Vin. Large rooms with a small kitchen. We had a room on 4th floor with a beautiful view of the bridge and to Cite de Vin. There are some noice from the trafic during night, but no big problem. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good if you do not come too late, then some items are missing. Very easy to reach and park very good for 1-2 nights stay when flying in to Bordeaux"

"this hotel seems recently updated and the interiors and rooms are really nice in this hotel class. Rooms look nice and are well-equipped and clean (and quiet). The exteriors could use a bit of paint to make it look more friendly and less like a dead building in a dead zone. The exterior might dissuade people to stay there, while it is really a nice, modern hotel on the edge of Bordeaux that I will remember next time I'm in the area."

"Plenty of secure parking at the hotel. It was in a good location to get the tram into the city centre and also to go walking around the lovely lake. I think the only negative was not being able to get a couple of milk portions for my tea as I took my travel kettle with me. I would definitely stay again and also recommend the hotel. Breakfast for really good as well and worth the money."

"I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free.
There is no laundry facility in this room, though Expedia lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by.
Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money. "
