Hôtel Life Bordeaux Gare - BG

Hôtel Life Bordeaux Gare - BG

10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Life, a great hotel, very comfortable, near the station and the tram stop is just outside. We hired bikes from the shop on the same street and were able to store them in the car park over night. The staff were super helpful, they genuinely wanted you to have a fantastic stay. Thank you Yanis for all your tips on where to go with teens!"

Le Boutique Hotel & Spa

Le Boutique Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"The location of the Hotel was excellent! The room had this French cachet and we really enjoyed it. Bed was really comfortable. Only small observation is services are limited (a few staff members trying to cover all jobs from valet to bartender) and the ambiance late afternoon was sleepy. Empty bar/lounge. Guests just not using the facility and common areas. Other than that, excellent."

Historic hotels give guests a chance to stay in a building officially recognised with a historic designation. These types of hotels in Bordeaux usually retain original characteristics such as period features or traditional architecture within the guestrooms or public spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. The term "historic hotel" is more common in the U.S., whereas "heritage hotel" is common in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to put more importance on the architecture and actual building. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the cultural value that the place has and how it inspired the community.

When you book a historic hotel in Bordeaux, it doesn't mean you're choosing a place that's rundown.
