"Our stay at Hotel Grand Francais was fantastic. One of the most underrated elements was that there was an amazing cocktail bar associated with the Hotel that was standout. The location felt very secure, was convenient to a ton of restaurants. The room was very clean and service was great. The breakfast spread was also delicious. Cafes and restaurants seemed to open quite late, so would recommend taking advantage of the breakfast. Would absolutely stay again when in Bordeaux!"

"The room was very clean and modern. The bathroom was fine any the shower was really good. The kitchen area was well equipped but small, and the sink was tiny. So even though we ate only breakfast in the room, it still felt cramped. The bed was comfortable BUT people should be aware that the bed is placed in a corner of the room, which is fine for one person but awkward for a second. The wardrobe is too small for hangers to be used normally, they have to hang at an angle if the door is to be shut. The AC is efficient however the bathroom extractor fan is a little noisy and runs 24/7. "

"Nice hotel in the heart of Chartrons, wonderful staff (that was very proficient in English) & close to everything in Bordeaux. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & wouldn’t hesitate to come back. This is city that is meant to be walked, & one couldn’t ask for a better home base to start from daily. Bring your best sneakers & go enjoy this gem in SW France. *cheat code* pay for the daily breakfast…. you can pick from the entire menu & have it served daily, in bed, & no extra charge! *And don’t miss the rooftop bar. Phenomenal views up there of the entire city w/ a full menu of drinks."
