It was once a lovely place but is now everything is very dated and tired looking. Emergency housing on site as well which is very sad. Having said that, it was quiet and we slept well

Upon arrival we walk into the room and the stench was unbearable, it smelt like the room hadn't been open for at least six months. Towels and pillows had green snot marks on them. We had decided at this point we couldn't stay in this place. We had tried the TV but it also didn't work. We have never had to stay in a place as bad as this. We approached the front reception and he offered a refund as he understood are concerns.

The rooms were really tired and old, didn't feel clean at all. The volume button on the TV remote didn't work, so TV was way too loud. Some light bulbs needed replacing. Definitely asking too much per room for what was offered. Waste of money.

Cockroaches in the kitchen, broken light fittings, broken window latches so screwed closed, broken toilet roll holder, shower Luke warm after 10 mins to warm up, holes in wall, fire alarm taped to ceiling. Mould throughout bathroom and stunk of it. Absolute tip, worst place we have ever stayed

The unit was spacious but a bit run down. For example, I could no longer read the labels on the stove top to know how hot the elements were, the ice box in the fridge was totally frosted over...

No hot water in the shower - which we needed after a long day. The room itself was comfortable, clean and inviting. The front door mat was almost in pieces which is what greeted us. The grounds have great potential which needs to be realised - outside the sliding doors is an outside area which could be made to be a pleasant seating space.

Property is in very old condition, it requires a bit of a new touch. However, everything is very clean and tidy, so all together we enjoyed staying here for one night.

Probably the worst motel ive stayed in ever in NZ or Australia. Rates are through the roof for a run down, old motel that needs alot of work. FAn in the bathroom had no cover and was dusty, old probably original taps fell off when we turned the water on. Carpet (probably original carpet) was coming up in places and had some staples that were out that i stood on. Will never stay there again.

The towels were fluffy. It was really noisy. Hubby has had a stroke and couldnt use the shower or toilet...for three days. We used the public toilets and he used a bowl to wash. The water was warm and we boiled the kettle to do the dishes and have a wash. Very disappointed

Wouldnt even let my cat stay here. No proper heater, taps leak, fire hazard, shower to small, stains on carpet and blanket, needs an upgrade. No sky tv, wifi dont work properly. Was cold and damp. There more to say but cant be bothered writing the rest
