"Although the hotel is a little dated, it is well maintained and made up for it with its fridendly and helpful staff. A specail thank you to Maya at receiption, who make out check in smooh and welcoming. The location is not the most convenient, especially for getting to the main shopping and transport areas, but we appreciated that the hotel provideds a complimentary shuttle service, which was very helpful. "The hotel is managed with a 24-hr check in counter with housekeeping on standby, Daily room cleaning or towel change is not provided unless if you request for it. The breakfast provides a wide variety and the food was fresh and delicious. One downside is the elevator crowd during peak hours where we had to wait a long time for the elevator to arrive and a long time inside the elevator to reach our floor. The hotel tried to mitigate the situation by having a staff to operate the elevator but...

Dusit Princess Melaka

Malacca City

10/10 Excellent

This hotel was the best hotel we stayed in during our 4 week holiday around Malaysia. The room was very spacious & super clean, the staff made us very welcomed. The breakfast buffet was also the best during our stay in Malaysia, not only was there plenty of choice, the presentation was fabulous and kept tidy & clean throughout the breakfast times. The hotel is in a reasonable position a 15 minute walk into Old Melaka town which you can do via the river walk or through little India town.

Holiday Inn Melaka by IHG

Malacca City

10/10 Excellent

The Holiday Inn Malacca was great after staying in a beach hut on Tioman for a few days. The facilities (the room, the pool, sauna etc) were great. We had a hire car so it was easy to drive into town but there is a free shuttle bus. The town is walkable (10 to 20 mins) but we didn't try it. Shopping malls aren't that far away although the roads are busy so I suggest you get dropped off and picked up by the shuttle bus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Casa del Rio Melaka

Taman Kota Laksamana

10/10 Excellent

Loved Casa del Rio! The staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the location, the facilities - can not fault them. Loved the turn down service every night - they even lit candles in your room for you ❤. Walking distance to everything, Saturday night markets were AMAZING, the cute little narrow streets & quaint buildings. The Mega Mall is impressive & only 10 minute walk from resort. I would highly recommend Casa del Rio to anyone wanting to be spoilt whilst on holiday. Definitely going back - good...

Treasures Hotel and Suites

Malacca City

10/10 Excellent

This was definitely a little hidden gem. An oasis near the busy town centre. The atmosphere was so relaxing, open and airy. The open courtyard where we had breakfast, open feel of the rooms with the glass bathroom, and the rooftop pool made our stay very relaxing. And being able to park our car on site and do everything on foot makes this one of the best locations I can think of for a hotel. 100% would stay here again and highly recommend. It should be a 4.5-5 start rating. Compared to other...
