Probably the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at in Malaysia. Wish I could stay longer. Only thing I would improve on is soundproofing - lot of echo from neighbouring rooms.

Nice and Home Feel

The place is comfortable, feeling home like and staff are friendly too. There is a cat which stays outside the garden. Guests who like quiet and privacy can choose this place.

Staff is very helpful, The Nest House provides coffee, tea, noodles at a counter in the lobby. At first look, it doesn’t seem to have a lot to see around but we were wrong. In fact, you can walk to the old Dutch and Chinese quarters and shop all the way in huge shopping centers. Don’t hesitate to feed in local restaurants ! We add one more night at the hotel to visit.

Good place to rest your head in Malacca

Very clean, big rooms and unlimited free tea, coffee and snacks. Staff very helpful and friendly. There are no lifts so staff offer to carry heavy luggage to the upstairs rooms. The hotel's no-shoes policy may be considered to be a safety issue in some western countries and by some guests. The hotel might like to advertise this policy in advance.

Nice homestay

Its a nice new homestay, very clean and well aired place. Very homey feeling. Just that might need mosquito reppellent as the toilet is open air. Tv channel is still not set might be still new. You have to open your shoes as they adapt the asian culture.

Amazing eco-homestay hotel

Very friendly hotel/homestay concept certainly lived up to it high rating. Exceptional levels of cleanliness and quality throughout. I really appreciate the idea of no shoes policy throughout. Japandi styled decor worked really well in this architect designed building and right up my street. Love the polished concrete floors and eco credential. Little touches like the naturally ventilated showers may be missed by the untrained eye. Thanks again

This small unique hotel was exactly as advertised . You could see the architect had cleverly reconstructed and re designed turning an old structure into this modern one . We had one of two downstairs garden rooms which we were thankful for as other rooms had quite a climb up many steps . Comfortable rooms , decent space , pillows bed all good . Loved the shower open air ventilations to small garden area . Communal area with snacks , filtered water . Tea coffee . Quiet area ( only noise occasionally from one of the cats hoping to visit room )only 10 minutes walk to town or get Grab .Both staff members exceedingly friendly and helpful . Enjoyed our 3 nights there.

A very small simple hotel in an alley but rich in kindness, warmth and the two men manning the hotel were so helpful and gentle. The hotel was the cleanest place I’d ever stayed in with better service than any 5 star hotels. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Kleinschalig maar erg prettig hotel. Prijs-kwaliteit is erg goed. Op loopafstand van het oude centrum. De koffie en thee faciliteiten is gratis. Ook de huiskat was een ontzettend leuk beest.

Ein gutes Hotel mit freundlichem Empfang. Die Tür lässt sich bequem per Code öffnen. Kaffee, Tee und einige Snacks sind kostenlos – die Snacks waren besonders gut! Mit schwerem Gepäck kann es etwas anstrengend sein, da es keinen Aufzug gibt. Die Terrasse ist nicht besonders schön, aber ansonsten stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut.
