"Hotel was recently renovated and very cute. Be aware that the hotel is on many different levels. Meaning, you take the elevator to Floor 2, and it is floor 2 when you get off, but you still need to go up or down a few stairs once you get onto the actual floor. A bit annoying when you have suitcases to lug. The layout was a bit like a maze to find our room. Many hallways in all directions, and as I said, sometimes a few stairs up from the other.... but not a full floor up. The rooms were clean, neat and bright. Bathrooms could have better, but overall fine. NOTE it is a noisy hotel. We could hear everything, even peoples alarms on their iphones going off in the morning. The doors to the room were all a bit offset in the doorframe and you really had to pull on it just to get it to shut and lock. Nice location, just enough outside of Newport center to not be crazy busy. Overall it was nice, but probably wouldn't stay there again. We did have an issue with people trying to get into our room at midnight thinking it was their room with a key. They called the front desk who also came up to help, with a key TO OUR ROOM, and were trying to get in. I finally opened the door and said "Um hello this room is occupied" so not sure what happened there. When the people called the desk it should have shown it was occupied. I was a bit annoyed that nobody even apologized about it when we were checking out or explain what happened. So I found that a bit unprofessional of them. "
