This is a great property for the price range. The staff was very helpful and accommodated our request for a small additional fee, which was a huge help in allowing us to freshen up after the Newport Marathon. The cleanliness of the property was on par with Hilton and Marriott standards. Highly recommended!

We initially had a problem with TV and coffee maker not working but we appreciate the staff’s effort to fix right away. We feel the price was right and perfectly located to see the sights of New Port. The trolley ride that included seeing The Breakers mansion was easy for us seniors with mobility issues. Thank you!

I had to ask to be transferred into a different room because the initial room given had a bad smell. The next room was better. Generally the hotel is clean. They only had egg for bfast.

Just got back from a recent trip to New England. We were late making reservations for Newport and had to "settle" for this property. As it turned out this was not a settle at all. We had the largest room of our entire trip. The staff were very nice and helpful. I was concerned about the location but it was really good too. The breakfast was good. I would stay here in the future.

The Red Roof Inn staff was nice and helpful. Everything worked. They offer a free breakfast that was simple but adequate. It is basically a nice motel experience. It was what we could afford and it worked out nicely for a night in Newport.

Friendly helpful staff check with the grilled chicken fried chicken. How much is that? I’m not gonna get it. I guess 35. I’m gonna have that chicken sandwich I have honey, but can I have the grilled chicken instead of the fried chicken? Can I get sweet potato fries it comes with thank you I’m gonna get the same thing with the grilled chicken with grilled chicken and pickle on the side and fries

It was clean and the staff was friendly BUT 1) during the complimentary breakfast I peeled an orange and it was BLACK in the middle and the apples were so soft that they had to be out for 2 weeks 2) every night there was noise from next door and every morning noise from above despite the fact that the place was much less than half full 3) asked the person at desk for very basic information and she told me she had just moved there and knew nothing (she was friendly though).
