The location was really good, close to the train station and bus stop. The building was very secure and safe but the area was not the safest with consent police presence. The host recommended a really good restaurant that was a 5 minute walk and the food was very excellent - Da Donata.

Outstanding. The location and transport links are incredibly convenient, and the room is excellent—featuring very comfortable beds and a sparkling clean, well-appointed bathroom. While the espresso is great, the breakfast selection could use a bit more variety. The staff is truly helpful and accommodating.

This was truly the highlight of our stay in Italy. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Room was spectacular. Staff was superb and especially Sarah with all the help at the reception. Very delightful and really happy to have net her.

Excellent location at the start of city centre. Great size room with balcony, good breakfast selection, easy access to restaurants, shops & parking. Highly recommended.

Very nice apartment in a good location. Close to buses and rail station. It was very clean, bed was comfortable. Access was easy. Hosts were very accomodating and communicative.

Nice modern hotel, though with a bit of a tacky design. Adequate but not spacious rooms and a hard bed with hard pillows, slightly below the standard you'd expect for a reported five star hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at Bellevue Syrene. The views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius are magnificent. The hotel is perched on the cliff above the harbour with a lift to get down for those who need it. The hotel itself is beautifully kept. The rooms are reasonable size only, but well appointed and spotlessly clean. The balcony on our room had a magnificent view. It is very hard to fault this hotel in any respect, and you pay well for the privilege!

Great place to stay

Charming property from the minute you drive up the driveway to when we entered the foyer and finally our room.

We stayed in another hotel in Naples, then went to Capri, and stayed in Il Convento on our return because our previous place was booked out. How lucky we were. Il Convento was much better - really friendly helpful staff. and really nice room. Interesting neighbourhood - we could just about shake hands with the person who lived in the apartment across the street; although at night time it was surprisingly quiet. Very convenient for Via Toledo and the frenetic street life of Naples. And they...

Wanted a good property outside centre , with car park, this works

The service from the reception staff has been the best I’ve received during my 2 weeks in Italy! The hotel is clean comfortable and beautifully appointed and has the most incredible views. The breakfast options are plentiful and delicious and the dinner menu is high quality and much better than the neighbouring restaurants in quality and taste. Having access to the wellness centre at Le axide adds more relaxation and the free shuttle at scheduled times makes the hotel well connected to trains
