A real Gem amid a beautiful City.
I can’t say enough good things about Maison Cabral…Susanna and Alberto were extremely helpful and delightful and very proud of their hotel. They instantly make you feel very welcomed. You can tell a lot of pride goes into the running of the Maison Cabral. It is one of the best maintained hotels where I have stayed. It was very clean and in excellent shape and you could tell lot of thought went into the decorating of the rooms. Lastly, it was very convenient to the main attractions in Porto.

A gem in Porto!
A boutique hotel renovated from an old mansion. It's small (with only 8 rooms each with different style of deco) but if you like your hotel to be quaint and elegant, this is the place for you. Only a short walk from the Metro Line E (Lapa station). What sets Maison Cabral apart from other hotels in Porto is its staff. I couldn't say enough about how friendly, willing and help Susana and Roberto were during our visit. They really made us feel like home.

Beautiful property! We were only here for a short visit but the staff were truly amazing! Lucas gave us a great dinner recommendation and it was probably the best food we’ve ever had. Everyone was so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend, we will be back for sure!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Everything was wonderful, starting with the superb customer service by Susana. Beautiful room, nice outdoor area to sit or swim in the pool, great restaurants nearby. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but we had a complete kitchenette and a well-stocked supermarket around the corner.

I recently stayed at this hotel and it was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, with convenient access to nearby attractions. The pool and garden area are lovely, providing a tranquil and relaxing environment. Our room was fantastic, exceeding all expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect, offering excellent recommendations and providing outstanding service throughout our stay. We are definitely planning to return in the future. Highly recommended!

A perfect place!

A lovely stay
We really enjoyed our 4 night stay in this hotel, the room was great very clean the outdoor area with a pool was great for relaxing! The hosts were lovely couldn’t do enough for us they gave a lot of recommendations for our visit to Porto from places to eat and drink to trips and places to visit. It’s a 10 minute walk from the centre so a good location lots of shops and bakeries on the way, overall we would definitely recommend this hotel!

Maison Cabral is clean, comfortable and stylish, and is well situated in a quiet area, a short walk from the city centre (or an easy bus ride, the bus stops almost at the door). Alberto, Susana and Michel could not have been more welcoming, friendly or helpful, and thanks to their advice we had an excellent few days in Porto.

Alberto, Michel & Susana are three wonderful hosts we will never forget! They made our stay so fun, effortless and enjoyable. All were so professional and available when needed but trust me, you will want them around! Their energy and presence brings true joy. The property is immaculate and they have everything you need, and access to anything else. The rooms are beautifully kept and I even noticed that the structure is so well maintained that it doesn’t make sounds that older homes are expected to! Beds very comfortable and you will want to go home with the linens! Expect to want to return here. The pool, albeit small is all that is required to dip or get laps in if you need and is a lovely oasis. I will be back!

Fantastic property - I have travelled all over the world, and Alberto and Suzanna have done an incredible job with Maison Cabral. They are both so thoughtful, kind and very helpful with restaurant, sightseeing and making reservations. I would highly recommend there beautiful property.

Perfect gem in Porto
The hospitality was fabulous and our room couldn’t have been more perfect. Being able to walk out directly to the pool was such a treat! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We can’t wait to come back!

After staying at crowded hotels in busy tourist districts, the Maison Cabral was a complete delight. The guesthouse has been impeccably remodeled and we loved our accommodations, including the beautiful pool and tranquil surroundings. Alberto and Susanna were amazing hosts, and the neighborhood quiet but with shops and not far from the bustling center of Porto. We hope to return for a longer visit someday!

We've travelled to many cities within Europe and stayed in many Hotels along the way. I can comfortably say that Maison Cabral is one of the best however and certainly the most welcoming and friendly. The Hotel consists of just 8 rooms, which makes for a very personable experience, delivered to you by host Alberto and Susanna (plus Titi the dog & Luchinno the cat). It's just a 15-20 minute walk into the City Centre and you'll find yourself at the base of the Clerigos Tower. There's a Multibanco cashpoint just a 1 minute walk down the road from the Hotel and a Pingo Supermarket within 5 minutes. Ubers were cheap and available if needed (6 Euros to the City Park & Serralves for example). Alberto can arrange Airport Transfers for 25-30 Euros, which takes the hassle out of arrival and departure. He also offers excellent Restaurant suggestions, all within a 5-20 minute walk. Welcome drinks, late check-out and luggage storage was all appreciated. Our room, Conguito, at the base of the Garden was spotlessly clean on arrival, maintained in such a state throughout and serenely quiet. You wouldn't believe you were in a City, it was so peaceful. The pool was a welcome sight after a hard day of exploring the City and also for a wake-up dip in the morning. Alberto also stocks a small honesty bar which you can collect drinks from on a Room tab paid on departure. We really hope to return to Maison Cabral in the future, a true home away from home!

Absolutely loved it from the start of my stay. Alberto was a lovely man who was exceptionally gracious, friendly and helpful. Personal touches like little chocolates left on the bed to luxurious towels and bathrobe. Nothing was too much trouble for Alberto or the housekeeper Susanna. The distance from the centre was quite a way but not a problem for me but may be for someone with mobility issues. Would love to visit again.

The hotel is very well appointed. With personal attention and comfortable space. The owner is a very affable person who knows Porto very well and is here to help at all times. The room/bathroom is newly refurbished. On valentine I received a beautiful rose and a cake!

Hostel was very pretty and super clean, the scent of the room was also good. And the owner, Susana was super nice and gave us warm welcoming and explained about Porto. Location was good as well to walk around the city. Only 10-15 mints by walk to the old town busy street.
