My stay at Burn Cottage far exceeded my expectations. The location is so close to Cromwell yet rural, very peaceful and private in the most beautiful surroundings. Gill went above and beyond, it is clear every detail is thought of and the house keeping was just immaculate. I could live here! I travel ...

Host was friendly and the accommodation was spacious. No WIFI was a real problem and more power plugs are needed

Great place with great amenities: Highlands Race Park, Heritage Village, etc.....
Although we arrived late and left early the town was very clean and interesting. Haily gave us some history which we found interesting
Cronwell is not adjacent to Queenstown. While the distance seems short, the gorge road is steep and dangerous and I would not back track from Cronwell to Queenstown.
Cromwell is a lovely town, it was a busy weekend for Motorsport and we loved it. We went to the Ben Nevis Station - Golden 1200 Hillclimb and there was Powerboat racing on Lake Dunstan and we visited Highlands Motorsport Park.
Cromwell is my favourite place in NZ. We lived there for a time ourselves. It is safe, quiet, has awesome scenery, a unique feel about it and the climate for me is perfect with no humidity.
