"This property is as advertised. Actually, there was a major improvement in the primary bath from the time we booked in August of 2023 until we stayed at the house in March of 2024. A shower was added to the bathroom which was a wonderful addition. All of the main living areas look out over the bay. There are 2 screened porches which were so useful as well. "If you enjoy being on the water this is the perfect house. We enjoyed spending time on the pier, relaxing on the screened in porch, and grilling out for dinner. The house is close to downtown Fairhope and Magnolia Springs for dining and shopping options. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to rent a place in the area."

"We found it difficult to find the cottage, the sign needs to be more visible and updated. It was all faded. Overall, we were satisfied with the country cabin charm. Loved the porch!! Enjoyed watching the dolphins from the pier, along with seeing eagles and blue herons."

"The host, Brianne, was easy to get in touch with regarding any questions/concerns. We had a wonderful stay. We have stayed in Gulf Shores and Dauphin Island several times but agreed that we liked this Ft Morgan area the best; right in the middle of the 2 areas! The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. There were only 2 of us but the house is very roomy for large groups. Loved having the pool and close proximity to the beach! We hope to come back!"

"We stayed for a month at this lovely cottage. The location, 7 miles from Gulf Shores' main drag, was perfect, close enough for convenient outings, far enough from the hubbub. The cottage had comfortable beds, decorated nicely, kitchen had everything we needed. Best of all, we were able to bring our dog, with a fenced yard, and ample room for him to stretch his legs. Our host was accessible with great communication. Highly recommended!"

"Lovely location overlooking the bay. If you want to be outside of the busyness of the city but close enough to enjoy all Fairhope has to offer this is a great option. The home has some foundation/settling issues that need to be addressed but don't let this stop you from staying here. We had six adults in our party and had plenty of room. The sunsets are amazing! No boat dock/pier at time of our stay."

"We totally loved “Bay Leave”…. The house was perfect for my husband and I and our two dogs. Could’ve easily had a couple more people. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed grilling grouper & burgers, baking crab cakes and much more. We loved having coffee in morning on the dock and watching the sunset every evening. Access to the beach was easy off of Veterans. Loved the peaceful setting and comfortable home. Thanks for sharing."

"We had a great time at this little cottage. Plenty of space for our group to spread out. Kayaks, the outdoor patio, boat ramp all a huge plus. Kitchen also had everything we needed and the enclosed porch was a huge bonus. Quiet, and the mattresses were quite comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!!"

"We loved the house and location; beautiful sunrises and sunsets always. Plenty of room for our guests! What we didn't expect though was the last week of 24/7 beach dredging and reshaping which closed the beach directly in front of us. Fortunately, it reopened on our last day so we could enjoy a final beach walk....my happy place. A few maintenance issues were addressed promptly by the very helpful staff.
