Highland Sunrise Suite is the perfect location for exploring the Cabot Trail National Park and the vibrant communities of the Sunset Coast of Cape Breton. It has a sun deck on the front of the house and a private hot tub in the back. The clean comfortable suite also had all the amenities for cooking. Our only disappointment was that we weren’t staying longer.

Clean and cozy
Great location. Very clean and cozy. We only stayed one night but with the hot tub bbq and patio table and chairs works definitely fir a longer stay. Maybe next time !

The property was as advertised, very clean, and Brian was very responsive to my questions. My only complaint is that in the directions to the property it should mention that the big sign says “Poplar Suites,” and that the property is one on these suites. It would make it much easier to find!

Owners were easy to contact and quick to reply to my questions. We didn't follow their advice about locating the property on google maps before hitting a dead zone on my cell. We drove past the property but turned around right away when we saw decorator flags and the beautiful flowers. The home was small but immaculate and well appointed. Most of the furniture and curtains appeared new and it was obviously well managed. My husband loved the private hot tub! The king bed was super comfy. WiFi was strong and we streamed shows with no problem. We looked forward to cooking our own meal after sandwiches and restaurant food for multiple days so the kitchen was greatly appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed! The location was perfect for multiple hikes and driving to the opposite side of Cape Breton park. We would definitely enjoy this property again! Thank you!!

Well thought out; well cared for; and unobtrusive but very beautiful objects on the walls, in keeping with the landscape.outside. Location minimises driving to the trails on the Cheticamp and Ingonish side of the Park.
