Location was excellent . Our room was very nice- lovely large walk in shower in bathroom. Full kitchen downstairs and a nice sitting area. Stairs leading upstairs are steep with no railing except for the last part. Had to leave luggage downstairs as we could not manage carrying them upstairs .

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated all their help. But in their advertisement they did not say the bedroom is not handicap access. The bedroom is upstairs and you have to climb several stairs. Also, in their advertisement they say coffee and danish would be served in the morning. We only got coffee. I would’ve gave them five stars if it wasn’t for these two things.

The woman who helped us check in to our room, answered all our questions and offered us coffee was lovely. Instructions on how to access the hotel and which building it was was unclear, and when I called the number provided the man was not very welcoming. We enjoyed the shared outdoor space, the air conditioning in the room and the proximity to the airport and downtown.

We only stayed 1 night. we booked it due to its proximity to the airport. We had an early morning flight. Lourdes (Lulu) was extremely accommodating and arranged airport transportation for us. The room we had was wonderful. extremely clean and comfortable.

Delightful Stay!

Casa Columna is a beautiful typical style home that hostess Lourdes has filled with tasteful, comfortable furnishings. We stayed in the master bedroom and were very comfortable with the huge king bed, large luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower and gorgeous view from the balcony. The pool was wonderful to relax and exercise in and we had it to our selves as it serves a very small private community. The pier with a terrific variety of outstanding restaurants is within a short walk. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, right next to the Marriot and a few other resort hotels. The airport is a very short Uber ride away. As a bonus, Lourdes makes the best French press coffee!

I went to see the place the day before. When I arrived, there was no indication of where to park or how to get into the gated property. I messaged them through Expedia and asked the charge for cancelling, they said "No charge". But my credit card was already charged!!! I contacted Expedia and they made several attempts to contact the manager, but no one responded. So I was charged for 5 nights and did not even stay one!!! The area is not safe (hence bars around the entire property). Yet they expect you to park your (rental) car in some vacant lot accoss the street that is NOT gated! As a single female, that doesn't speak Spanish, I did not feel safe, but I still can't get my money back!?!
