Disappointing Experience at Hyatt Zilara
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Zilara, expecting a VIP experience for my husband's 65th birthday celebration. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.
Communication and Special Requests:
Despite indicating the purpose of our vacation was to celebrate my husband's milestone birthday, the concierge, Yana, provided little assistance. Upon arrival, she informed us that special dinners on the beach were only available on Saturdays, completely disregarding our request for Monday. Yana's lack of effort in finding alternative options was disappointing.
Food Quality and Options:
The food at the resort was subpar, to say the least. The buffet offerings were lackluster, with reheated dishes lacking flavor. My husband even suffered from food poisoning after consuming seafood at the beach club. The limited restaurant options and the practice of reheating food for multiple days in a row left much to be desired.
Room Upgrade and Billing Issues:
To add to the disappointment, I had paid for a room upgrade, only to find out that the room was not ready until two days after our arrival. Despite canceling the upgrade within the allotted 24-hour window, my card was still charged. This lack of attention to detail and billing accuracy is unacceptable.
Overall Impression:
