"The hotel was beautiful, with the add Christmas feel. We stayed for one night, for a visit to Burghley House Christmas Market, it was perfect location. Dinner and breakfast was good, however a little expensive. The room was warm, cost and had all amenities needed. The only complaint, was the bed was a little hard. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Haycock Hotel. "

"My second stay at this property. Rooms are spacious (both the standard and superior rooms, as we got an upgrade last time) and immaculately clean. Smooth check-in and check-out process. Location is super close to the center, Peterborough rail station is 5 minute walk."

"Arrived at the inn with my friends in tears. This is not an inn, as described on the site but but more of a YMCA. On arrival the room was not in the advertised building but in an adjacent bungalow which was damp and mouldy and a request was made twice for a room change. Bed sheets were being laid out on the main corridor floor and the room temperature was reaching 40 degrees. This made the smell intense. The staff tried to accommodate but we avoided a conflict and booked alternative...
