"We stayed here in order to experience the historic aspect of the building and its architecture. They have done a good job maintaining the building, the woodwork, and the rooms. We truly enjoyed feeling like we were staying in a fairly original hotel of the late 1800's. It was not as clean as newer hotels, but I would grant that it is much harder to clean than newer hotels. There were no glaring concerns. When you stay here you are experiencing history and that in my opinion is very valuable....
