Check In: I booked 1 week in advance and got confirmation from the property management. When arrived at 11.30 to check in, the front desk told me that my booking has been cancelled. They told me to pay another higher amount in cash if I like to stay here or else leave. In the Expedia app, the booking still showed as valid with booked, and I did not receive any cancellation email from Expedia or property, else would have booked another hotel. I take this as blackmailing on behalf of the property management and never had such bad experience. Since it was mid night, I decided to pay higher amount and stay there.
Room: room was ok but the mattress was too old with broken springs. The plastic water bottle in the room is complimentary but glass water bottle is not. If you still want to stay here, please open the fridge and take picture of the items in there and send it to hotel for records.
Checkout: while checking out, the clerk went to see the room and told me that I have consumed 2 Fanta, 2 coke, and not sure what else and I am supposed to pay extra. When I checked in, there was plastic water bottles in the minibar fridge and that’s it, nothing else. I confronted him as there was no stocked minibar at all but clerk did not admit to it.
My advice. Stay away from this property and save yourself some trouble and spoiled vacation.
