"This was a last minute booking and the hotel was very friendly and professional . The room was comfortable and spacious whilst the bar staff were very friendly. We had a bar meal which was a chef’s special - absolutely wonderful. We would certainly come back to this excellent hotel !"

The hotel has the ambience of a beautiful country house, with many original features. We have stayed here many times and the hotel never fails to please. One very minor point, the potholes on the driveway!"

"Stayed for one night but was good. Room spacious, was a family room, big double comfy bed plus folding settee bed. Only change would be addition of curtain at small window, as only had vertical blind and this let in early morning-light. Breakfast was good, friendly, helpful staff, good selection fruit, cereals and cooked food. Had the full Scottish which set me up for the rest of the day."
