"The hotel room was spacious but not overly clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast selection was excellent. The location is also a great bonus being right in the centre. However the pool facilities were not very well maintained. There were broken tiles around the pool and no one maintaining the area which meant there were used towels strew everywhere and it was very slippery. One of our party actually slipped and fell over hurting themselves."

"Hotel offers value x money in the sense that you are 15min away from Amsterdam Central in metro+bus (even walking the last leg). Breakfast is good enough - but beware of the masses. Staff is generally nice. Rooms are functional but small (as many European hotels)."

"We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was beautiful and the room was spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The spa was also lovely; one thing worth mentioning is that the sauna and steam room are mixed gender and the rule is that you don’t wear a bathing suit in there. Some people kept a towel wrapped round themselves but others were naked - some people might feel uncomfortable with that. Gorgeous views from the rooftop bar. Amsterdam is a wonderful city. I would love to return and would definitely stay at this hotel again, despite it being a little out of the city."

"We stayed for a full week in a superior king room. The hotel was clean and looked great after a recent renovation. Juice and water in the lobby were a nice touch. Located in an area with good amenities (250m from a grocery store, pharmacy) and across the street from a laundromat. About a 5 minute walk from the Muiderpoort Station that had frequent trams/sprinters right to Amsterdam Central. 10/10 would stay here again."

"Absolutely excellent hotel in Amsterdam. About a 15 to 20 minute walk from Centraal train station, it’s located right along the water and immediately adjacent to the cruise passenger embarcation point. It’s a large hotel, great views, modern decor, spotlessly, clean, great linens, and the breakfast is absolutely outstanding. Very, very extensive buffet with high-quality food and drinks. Absolutely the perfect spot to stay if you’re coming in and out on the train and or leaving or arriving from a river or Ocean Cruise."
