"Location was good, staff was friendly, bedroom was fine with clean sheets, bed was comfortable...however, fridge could do with cleaning, hallways and stairs leading up to the rooms smelt of damp and could do with some hoovering as well, bathroom was not cleaned properly - floor was dusty with crumbs in corners, under the toilet lids was dirty. I had to use antibacterial wipes to go over the bathroom before we could use it. Toilet flush also acted up several times!"

"We had a great week, the cottage is lovely and finished to a high standard, the garden is a delight and a little sun trap, gas bbq, table and chairs plus sun loungers. Julia and Brian are a lovely couple , very welcoming and helpful and left us a very acceptable welcome pack. A week was not long enough to explore all we wanted to do so a return visit is a must"

"Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. "
