Cosy 17th century 1 bed cottage, perfect for couples and furry companions.
Following extensive restoration and enhancement works which began in October 2023, we re-opened Easter 2024 and so pleased with our guests feedback so far.
Vine Cottage now has a new kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, new conservation windows and new conservatory with heating.
The grounds have been re-landscaped with its own enclosed garden and a communcal space with gazebo and BBQ area and had a total refit throughout. We have also added a hot and cold doggy shower for our furry guests.
As Vine Cottage is over 300 years old we have unearthed some lovely original features which have been preserved and enhanced for our guests to enjoy.
Vine Cottage is a spacious charming (Grade II listed) 17th century brick and flint cottage with 1 large bedroom with King -size bed and TV with Freeview, bathroom with bath and shower, kitchen with electric oven, microwave, AirFryer and a cosy sitting room with dining area, SmartHDTV, a utility room housing the washing machine and fridge freezer and a sunny conservatory and free Wifi.
The cottage has retained that "home from home" feeling with traditional charm with its own private enclosed garden and off road allocated parking with access to a communal garden area with BBQ area and gazebo.
Located in the sleepy village of GREAT SNORING, with the village church next door it is just 6 miles from Wells-Next-the-Sea the fabulous North Norfolk Coast and close to many local attractions and charming villages. Places such as Holt, Holkham Estate, Royal Sandringham, Houghton Hall, Bickling Estate, Burnham Market, the NT wildlife reserve at Blakeney, Brancaster for the seals, historial Walsingham, Sheringham and Cromer are all within easy reach from the cottage.
We are also dog friendly with plenty of dog walks just round the corner including the Walsingham Way which leads into the historic village of Little Walsingham and plentiful dog friendly beaches nearby.
There are an array of beautiful walks, both coastal and inland with the North Norfolk Coastal path stretching all along from Old Hanstanton to Cromer, plenty of golf courses, fishing, sea fishing, bird watching, nature reserves, a racecourse and some superb restaurants / pubs and many shopping opportunities including some amazing artisan shops with locally sourced produce.
North Norfolk just love their dogs and most are welcome in lots of pubs, restaurants and shops too. Most of the beaches along the coastline are dog friendly too.
A quirky, charming and dog friendly cosy cottage in a quiet location ideal for a relaxing break but does have WiFi included and a Smart HD TV with streaming service available.

We had a wonderful holiday in Vine Cottage. Karen and Andy are great hosts and the cottage is in a perfect location for exploring north Norfolk. The cottage is very comfortable and clean and also has lots of character. We would definitely stay at Vine cottage again.
Visit to Norfolk. Vine cottage was absolutely stunning, immaculate, quality furnishings with personal touches to make it feel like home. Quiet with parking. Ideal location for exploring the whole area.
Karen was easy to contact, and was great with communication .
Will definitely visit again.
Highly recommend, Clevency Cottages.
Lovely week in traditional cottage in Great Snoring. Private secure little garden which our dog loved. Norfolks amazing beaches within a 20 minute drive. Communication with host excellent and also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Biscuits and dog treats a lovely touch. Thank you. 😀
Beautiful cottage in a lovely central location for all seaside towns. The cottage was comfortable and plenty of room for 2 adults and one dog, we thoroughly enjoyed our week at vine cottage and would certainly visit again.
Lovely cottage in an idyllic setting. Great location and everything you need in a holiday cottage. Karen was great in all her contact with us and the property was clean and cute.
A comfortable cottage in a good position for exploring north Norfolk. Lovely walks and beaches all within a 45 minute journey, and we enjoyed visiting Blickling house and Holkham hall on the cooler days.
Absolutely wonderful. So good, that we had already rebooked it for next year before we left. Such a cozy cottage but with a light airy conservatory to give you the best of both worlds. Secure garden for our dog, fully

If your looking forward to a quite and peaceful stay. Vine cottage is just the place. Host is excellent, with good communication. throughout would recommend to anyone.
Lovely cosy property in a very pretty village. Great location near to beautiful beaches and nature reserves. Dogs had a great time as well and the enclosed garden was perfect for them. Excellent communication from the friendly owners , we had no problems during our stay but I’m very confident any concerns would have been dealt with immediately. Thank you !
Traditional cottage in a sleepy Norfolk village; my idea of heaven. Couldn't have wished for more. We will definitely book again. The whole area is 'postcard picture perfect'. The wildlife in the immediate area is incredible.
A truly memorable holiday.
Thanks Karen.
We had the most amazing time. The cottage and surrounding areas surpassed our expectations. Karen’s attention to detail was first class. We will definitely be returning to Vine Cottage as soon as we can.
We had a lovely time at Vine Cottage. The listed cottage is pretty and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the private garden is an asset, especially for dogs. The communal parking area is well organised with picnic benches and a washing line. Karen is an excellent host who goes out of her way to make sure her guests are happy.
From the time of booking to the arrival at the cottage, the hosts were diligent in keeping us informed (especially regarding COVID) and we received a warm welcome on meeting them, going out of their way by leaving flowers, wine and a card for our anniversary. The cottage had everything needed for our stay, and more! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet retreat.
A delightful cottage. The host welcomed us with fresh flowers, wine, biscuits and treats for the dogs which was very much appreciated. The cottage was well presented and Karen had gone to a great deal of trouble to supply us with local information, things to do, where to go, all the dog friendly beaches and walks. She was on hand should any problem arise and was extremely helpful making sure we were settled in. If planning a visit to Norfolk I'd highly recommend a stay here. It was lovely.
Lovely cottage with all the equipment we needed and a very comfortable bed. Own parking space. Nice conservatory which is a bonus to watch the evening sun when the day is chilly. Within easy reach of the north Norfolk coast and all at a very reasonable price with a discount for booking a whole week. Hope to be back.
The cottage was so cosy, had everything you would need. Location was excellent, in a very quiet village.
Totally relaxing place with the added bonus of a garden and parking.
The hosts were so lovely, with lots of knowledge of the area. Had the best week away.
Beautiful cottage, cosy and quaint set in a quiet village with lots to do in surroundings areas. Lovely welcome gifts for host-nice touch.
Only downside is the shower/bath - very hard to have either. If this was sorted it would be great.
Fantastic property spotlessly clean, full of charm with a wonderful welcome from the owner. Located perfectly for the North Norfolk coast and not to far from the Broads a perfect getaway.
