"This cabin is perfect for a small family! The view is absolutely gorgeous and it’s right on the river! Marc was a great host and so helpful, yes you’re attached to the main house but they definitely give you your privacy. The cabin was spotless and so cozy with great views from the bedrooms of the river as well! We have three boys twin 14yr old and a 6yr old and it was perfect for us! I 10/10 recommend and we will be back! "

"We had a great stay! The house was well equipped and clean. The location is wonderful; private and quiet. We loved the creek and spent most of our time swimming and exploring. We also went crystal mining which was a very close 20 minute drive. Tons of fun and hope to come back!"

"We loved every minute of our time at Whispering Pines and in Mt. Ida. We were able to disconnect and enjoyed much needed family time. We loved the hammocks, fire pit, creek and the hiking near the cabin. We didn’t do everything g we wanted and everyone was ok with that! The cabin was so cute and clean and the kids loved having for life upstairs to sleep in. "

"We came to Arkansas for a mother daughter trip and we had the best time. We came to canoe but the water level was to high to safely float especially with children. Marc told us about a hiking trail called little missouri falls and it was well worth the 40 min drive. We hiked and we got to swim at the waterfall. We loved it, you will need a truck or suv to manage the terrain into the trail. We also spent time in hot springs which is about a 45 min drive. "

"The property was unique. It's not the typical cookie cutter house which appealed to us.We had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and informative about places to go and see. The only thing was we wished we would have done prior to the trip was looked up more of the places to visit, waterfalls, swimming areas etc. We did not realize the national forest was so large so we ended up driving alot to some areas. This is no fault of the house we just needed to map things out better for us."
