Bed and Breakfast in Mount Ida

"My husband and I and our two grown sons and their spouse and girlfriend enjoyed this property. Great open floor plan, three bedrooms, nice kitchen three bathrooms, which was really nice. Very nice dock and access to the lake. We worked directly with the owner of the property and she was very responsive and very nice. She gave us some great ideas of where to eat out as well. I would definitely book this property in the future. The great location of the lake but then the short drive to all things downtown Hot Springs."

"Great little rental. The house is older but has some nice updates and was very clean.The boat it came with was fantastic for some fun on the lake. We enjoyed tubing, cruising and stopping for lakeside dinners. ( we brought a tube, ropes, and child life vest) The boat has all the basics that are required. It is an older boat, but worked great and such a cost savings versus a rental from the marinas. It is a bit of an arduous walk down/up the hill from the house to the dock, so be sure you have everything you need. It wouldn't be suited for someone with mobility issues. I walked down to the bar then through it to use the stairs. "

"This property was just as promised. Location was great as I was joining a large family gathering during the daytime and needed my quiet space in the evenings and mornings. Management is very quick to respond and housekeeping are so polite and helpful!"

"It is an older facility but not run down. For for the price, you can't beat it. When you just need a comfortable and quiet place to rest and clean up to go to your next function, it's great. No complaints at all. Staff is friendly as well."

"We stayed here for my daughter’s dance competition, and were blown away by this place! The view is beautiful, the balcony is huge. Every room has a tv, they left games, card games, legos. It has a washer and dryer in the apartment, and they leave Tide there to use. They also have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in both bathrooms. The bedrooms, and bed are large and comfy. The room with the smaller bed has a bed under it that just rolls out! The pool is on the small side - but it was warm and the kids loved it. The only con is we couldn’t get the ice machine to work which wasn’t a huge issue because they had ice trays in the freezer for us. One room didn’t have a remote - again not a big deal. And the master TV is slow and doesn’t have cable, but again, nothing that affected our stay at all. Out of five stars, we would rate it 10, and would definitely come back! "

"Older place and small, but it was quiet and relaxing. We had to stay in town longer due to a flat tire needing replacing, they help accommade us easily! We also got engaged on the dock, so I say it was pretty amazing! Beautiful and peaceful! "
