"This is a gorgeous boutique accommodation. It's full of charm and positive vibe. Our room was spacious and delightfully decorated. The cutest kitchenette made breakfast-making a breeze. "As we tried to check in at 2 pm which it states on the website we were told check-in was 3pm. When we finally checked in we had to sign an agreement that we would not smoke or have any pets in our room. When we went to our room there was a family directly above us, who looked as though they might be living there, had a barking dog. We were told in an email from the facility that we were to call 24 hours before we checked in which when we called they questioned us why we called. Just confusing as to the requirements about staying here and what really is expected."

"The hotel room was mostly clean. The shower curtain needed a washing and the back of the bathroom door could have used a wipedown. Other than those two things, the room was great. We stayed in room 16 and the rooms may vary, but the bathroom was very small. It was narrow and the bathroom door has to be closed to get to the toilet. A larger person would have problems in this bathroom. This is not a complaint, it's just allowing someone to know before paying for a room."

"Historical manor house that has been converted to a boutique hotel. Some of the room's furnishings and fixtures could be updated and upgraded in quality while keeping to the historical sense. The room and common areas feel a bit basic when the actual building holds a lot of history and character. It wouldn't take much to take this hotel from good to excellent- to start: greater intentionality in selecting period appropriate art and furniture, and creating a lounge space for guests in common areas (with sofas or conversational chairs instead of breakfast tables) would improve the guest experience. Room was clean and the breakfast, though also basic, was good. Excellent location in town with the downtown walkable. Good value for money (as everything is expensive in this part of the world it seems). No amenities to speak of. Parking on site was easy."

"Stayed here while visiting Vermont, Stowe & Woodstock. It was a great base area. Hotel was great, beds were comfortable. One site dining was good. The is little to no nightlife in the town and everything does close early. But good coffee shops and the whole little town is walkable. Very cute town."
