"This place was a dream. A quintessential New England cottage that had everything we needed: including a downstairs bedroom suite with its own bathroom, living, and hot tub! It was a big enough space where we could all be together, but spread out if needed. It looked quite literally brand new...so clean and modern as though it were built yesterday. "The house was awesome, but it was not very clean when we arrived so I spent the first couple of hours cleaning. I washed some of the bedding myself and wiped down the kitchen and bathroom before we used them - there were hairs and muddy splash marks in the shower. The host had assured me the kitchen was equipped with everything I would need to cook meals, but the nonstick cookware was so old and scratched I did not want to use it. When I contacted the host to let him know, he just said nobody had ever complained about the clealiness before. He directed me to a mixing bowl elsewhere in the house that had dirt in the bottom. Overall, the house suited my family's needs, but it was not clean."
