When we arrived for check in, there was no one at the front desk. We rang a doorbell as indicated by a sign to get assistance, and waited several minutes. It was past 2200 due to our train being delayed into the city, and as we were waiting, I felt my anxiety rising - if no one showed, there was no number to call, and I could not find who in Expedia I would need to connect with in order to sort out another accommodation. Luckily, after about 10 minutes, staff arrived to check us in. I think as feedback, I would recommend the property have a note that says it may take 10 minutes for staff to arrive, if it is in the night and no one is around. Especially in the case that you know a reservation has not arrived.

The staff gives superb service. The whole place is really cozy. Breakfast is lovely and top of the line espresso/coffee machines and sparkling and regular water machine are always available, anytime. Downstairs there’s a big table that’s good for working. I meet up with an international group of colleagues there once or twice a year and we all enjoy La Planque.

Perfect bolt hole for exploring Canal St Martin - also walked from here to The Louvre. Lovely park about 20 mins away too for a picnic.

Great little hotel in an excellent location
Great little hotel in a great location. Rooms were spacious for the price, clean and nice design, staff was great. It was the perfect place to stay for 3 days with our 2 year old - they provided a crib for her free of charge.

Fell short of expectations. I booked to stay a little outside of the centre as I wanted a little more for my money, but I actually got a little less. The room was very noisy, I was able to hear traffic outside and everyone who came up and down the stairs very clearly. The laundry being collected at 3am didn't help... It was also incredibly small. And not just "Paris" small. It would be a struggle for more than one person to stay here. I was solo and was glad to only be there for a couple of nights. There is no where to put a bag or any space to unpack at all (no shelves, drawers, sidetable etc.). It's just very awkward - For example, things in the bathroom fell onto the floor as there was just nowhere to put literally anything at all. Finally, the staff came across as angry that you were there. My check in was rushed and I wasn't told about breakfast or anything that was available to me (so, I didn't eat breakfast once and was made to feel stupid on checkout that I didn't know I could have had it every day) Such a shame as I wanted to like it!

This is a great little hotel walking distance from Gare du Nord/Gare de l'est & really convenient for getting around the city. The rooms are stylish and clean, the common areas are great & really quiet, I was able to do a Zoom meeting from the lovely courtyard garden & also share a bottle of wine with friends who came over to visit. The staff are really friendly & even gave me a free bus ticket when no Ubers/taxis were available!

Gorgeous boutique hotel
Loved this hotel. It’s small and chic, beautifully decorated with cosy rooms. The manager is so friendly. Breakfast is lovely. Will definitely visit again.

The hotel was amazing, room was spotless and the staff were wonderful, adding a lovely little touch over valentines day delivering a heart ballon with a note attached, over all it was a fantastic place to stay and would go back again

The staff is amazing, warm, and helpful. Excellent and friendly. But the property is in need of some major upkeep. There were stains on my walls and a whole in the wall. Just didn’t feel like a luxurious stay which is what I had been hoping for, given the price.

A very charming, comfortable hotel at a reasonable price in a hip neighborhood. With functioning WiFi, a good quality breakfast, comfortable beds, new furnishings and good design, beats most hotels in this price range in Paris.

Beautiful decorated, staff were excellent and beds comfortable. But uot enough hanging space in rooms, no where to hang a wet coat. The desk is barely big enough to write a postcard and the chair is a low stool. Breakfast is basic - no hot food. Lift is so small it's a real squish for two people. (Two big people forget it) Kettle positioned in hanging space so the few clothes you can hang get nice and steamy. Nowhere else to put the kettle but on the floor.
