The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel in itself is very old, run down and not in good shape. Looks nothing like the pictures and is extremely noisy. The rooms were clean but this hotel is a 2 star at best. The location wasn’t incredible either, not the best area.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel was conveniently located (5 minutes walk from Montparnasse train station) and there were restaurants, Monoprix market and the Observation Tower (59th floor) near the hotel. The receptionist, Anna, was super nice and helpful. Our room was on the 6th floor, small but quiet with a comfortable bed. The only problem was that the shower drain wasn't working. When my husband took a shower, it flooded the bathroom floor and the water was coming into the bedroom. I used the towels to clean the floor. We packed our luggages and went downstairs to tell about the problem. We were told that the similar incident happened before. We wanted to see if they would give us another room but they told us there's no other room available. They said they would clean the room so we could stay. Anna offered us free croissants and a cup of coffee (since we lost our time for breakfast due to the incident). A few hours later, the room was cleaned and ready. I don't know if they fixed the drainage. The next morning we left for the airport. The hotel called for a taxi, and the driver came on time. Staying at this hotel was an adventure. We really appreciated Anna at the front desk.

Hotel was lovely, great staff and public transport such as metro/bus easily accessible. Bed was okay but main issue for us was that the AC was not working. Other than that a lovely stay

Location is excellent to reach the local subway and inter-cities train. Very safe even at mid-night. A lot lot of restaurants around. Breakfast is great. Stuff either at receiption and restaurant are excellent. Only except the room, specially bathroom, is not perfectly clean but acceptable.

The room did not look anything like the website. We stayed in a club room which was suppose to have view of the city. True room was facing an old derelict multi-storey car park looking building. It says the rooms are sound proof but we could hear people walking in the hallway. The room was really small. The shower was of poor standard and not maintained well. Th O say the description of the room was exaggerated is an understatement. The bed was comfy which was a surprise. Will defo at Ely not stay here again.

Great location and room size and bathroom was good. Please consider installing a water fountain so guests can help themselves to still and sparkling filtered water (we loved this at other similar hotels).

Good hotel in lovely area, close to metro, lovely shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel comfortable, very nice small lobby. We stayed in a triple room, sofa bed very uncomfortable. When we told hotel we were told all sofa beds the same. Would recommend for 2 ppl, not 3

Great location
It’s a very good place to stay lots of bus stations and metro areas. Close to lots of things in walking distance good crêpes in the area and lots of cafés in the area. People were very nice there just have to ask for extra coffee they seem to be pretty light on the coffee

Good clean property well located and close to underground. Rooms has all key facilities: tea, coffee, decent wash liquids, tissues and all clean. Shower cubicle a little run down could do with some updating. Staff friendly - quick check in and out. Hotel reception area welcoming and well decorated and modern. Breakfast was basic but did the job and filled the purpose. Range of cheese, meat, jams, bread , egg, cereal, croissants, yoghurts, teas and coffees etc . Staff and breakfast attentive and friendly. Very convenient location for my business trip being close to Montparnasse station - 2 min walk down the road. Plenty of restaurants and decent range in and around area. Busy area and seemed quite safe in evenings.

We love Hotel Waldorf. The staff are nice. The hotel is beautiful. The location is perfect near metro train station. It is surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants. And near market too.

The shower area is dirty. There’s mold on the wall or tiles at the shower and on the floor. The location is the only thing that’s count convenient to the train station. It’s too pricey for the condition of the cleanliness of the shower.

Love this hotel. It was very clean and nice. Room was on the small size but it worked for us. Housekeeping cleaned daily. Fresh towels. Bathroom was clean with great water pressure. It was located close to the Metro station so we were able to get to our various destinations. Enjoyed our stay

Hotel is handy to the train station. Room was a good size. Shower was low pressure. Staff good. Got woken up quite a bit with hearing people talking in the neighbouring rooms and outside on the street. Lots of food places nearby.

Location is VERY convenient. Can access most of Paris by the nearby metro station. Hotel is a bit tired, but clean and comfortable. If you just want a base to explore the city, this will serve you well.

This is a decent hotel which is very close to Montparnasse station. I picked this because of an early train out of Paris. There’s a lot of restaurants around the area. I didn’t mind walking from Saint Germain Des Pres especially since there are several stores along the way.

Lovely, quiet hotel that is steps away from the Metro and great restaurants. Good service - the rooms feel typically Parisian and the staff did a deep clean every day. We would happily stay here again!

irst experience in Paris, Hotel Waldorf did not disappoint ! Anna and Precious were so welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast delicious. It’s close to adorable cafes, metro and Gare Montparnesse. Would definitely recommend and stay again when visiting area.

Wonderful staff - they made sure we had taxis when we needed them and were extremely nice. Nice restaurants, grocer, pharmacy & atm within 1 block. It states they have a/c, and they do, but it is controlled by the downstairs desk and we never had the rooms cool off (we used 2 rooms on 2 floors) Breakfast was quite nice. They have those really deep bathtubs that make it difficult for older people. I felt like I was taking my life in my hands every time I wanted to get in/out of the shower. But, I'd stay there again, so am giving it a 4 star review.

We stayed at the Hotel Waldorf for 4 nights and we were very pleased with our time spent there. The staff were very welcoming and nice, they were very helpful as well. The lobby itself was quite cosy and a nice area to hang around. The family rooms were pleasantly spacious and bed was super comfy. The location was perfect for us as we needed to be close to the main train station. The area had plenty of dining and shopping options. Overall our experience was really positive and we would not hesitate to go back on our next visit.

The Hotel Waldorf is a great place to stay if you are looking for these things - fun neighborhood central to everything by metro and outside the overcrowded tourist area. We got everywhere in 15-30 minutes with super easy metro rides. The staff is really wonderful, especially Anna. They have air conditioning!!! That is a huge plus. We elected to eat at the local Boulangerie every morning but the breakfast they offered smelled great. You won’t get a huge room but that seems to be the case in Europe and who stays in the room other than to sleep anyway. The lobby is cute and a nice place for a drink and a macron. We really enjoyed our stay there and the price is right!

Great hotel and a great location!
Had a great stay at Hotel Waldorf. Super friendly staff, great location in Montparnasse very close to restaurants and Metro. Rooms were clean and the air condition was appreciated during this summer weekend stay celebrating my mother’s 75th birthday. Would happily stay here again on my next visit to Paris.

Family trip for the week
This hotel is in a great location near many dining option and train stations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a bit smaller than what I expected but the beds were very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure once we figured out how to use it.
