I love this hotel, this was my second time staying here. Staff is super friendly and the rooms are small but comfortable. The area is quiet but has a ton of shops, restaurants, and bars within a few minutes by foot or bus.

This was my second stay here. I love the location and the friendliness of the staff. However the rooms are extremely small, so be prepared. Good breakfast.

This is a three-star hotel, so don't expect anything fancy. The elevator is tiny, but works. There is no coffee service in the rooms because of space, and the coffee machine in the lobby only makes expresso sized drink. You need to grab two cups there and taken them downstairs to the breakfast room for an American size coffee to take back to your room.

Besides the room and location, what really stood out was the staff. They are really outstanding. They are welcoming, kind and give practical advice. We don’t always get that. The room was good, bed comfortable. Shower nice and hot. There was a tub for a bath, which we took advantage of. Decent towels and soap. This is a desirable place. So reserve early.

Small, boutique hotel. Extremely quiet, yet close to bars, restaurants and shops. Easy walk to the Seine, The Louvre and Notre Dame. We will use Hotel Saint Christophe again.

Highly recommended! It is a surprisingly good hotel, not so big but it is very clean with great service. Walking distance to the river side, Pantheon and many other landmarks. I will definitely stay here again for next visit.

Our Standard Double Room was very clean upon arrival but significantly smaller than we thought - made it a bit difficult with 2 large suitcases for my husband and I. The bathroom was especially small. AC worked well in the room & it was nice being able to open the window during the day. There is a small tv in the room but no cable or streaming provided - we didn't feel comfortable logging into our own streaming accounts. While the room was clean, we never received fresh towels at any point which would have been greatly appreciated after 14 hour days of walking around the city. We even left them on the floor each day hoping to get new ones and we didn't. The breakfast at the hotel was great with a variety of pastries, juice, and coffee. Something we didn't like about the hotel was that you're not allowed to hold onto your room key if you step outside the hotel. The staff makes you return the room key each morning you leave and then knock on the lobby door to get back in at night, and then will give the key back to you. We've never seen this before and felt it was a nuisance to do this for almost a week. There is a bus stop near by and a metro station a bit of a walk from the hotel. The hotel did seem far from most things. There is a bakery right in front of the hotel that was delicious, a small market near by, and a pharmacy. Overall the hotel met our needs but we wouldn't stay again mostly due to the room size and location.

We are surprised regarding the towels as we change them witout any problems ? Did you signal this to our team? Regarding the key policy it is mainly for your safety, it avoids you getting pickpocketted and also allows us to know if you are there are not. Finally we are very surprised by your comment regarding the location of the hotel. We are in the heart of the latin quarter, close to the jardin des plantes; the pantheon, the Arenes de Lutece and Notre Dame (only to name the principal sites). You can reach the louvre and the musee d'orsay by metro in less than 15minutes. It is true that if you wanted to be close to the Eiffel Tower or the Champs Elysees, are location is not the best. We hope to give you a better experience if ever you change your mind and decide to stay with us again.kind regards,The Hotel Saint Christophe Staff

Room was small but spotlessly clean and the elevator is tiny (two people or one person and a suitcase maximum!) but the staff was AMAZING. Short walk to Metro, pharmacy, mini-supermarket or to Contrascarpe Square where there are a ton of great cafes. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Avoid room no 1. The room was extremely noisy - right next to elevator, reception, luggage storage and office, and despite double doors all sounds found their way right into our room. Bring earplugs. The room should never have been rented out, at least not to that price. Other than that the room was small and dark - we could not open the curtains since the room was on street level, and also not the windows as people could walk straight in from the street The room was nicely redecorated, though, and friendly staff. We did not try the breakfast.

I would have give 4 or 5 stars except there was a horrible rude night desk clerk that make our stay a nightmare. He insulted us when we asked for help, told us to "drink water out of the bath tub" rather than the water provided in the lobby. We had 2 rooms and told us to "stop going back and forth (at 8:30pm), He left the front desk with all the room keys (the old fashioned hotel keys) unsecured and unattended. The lights in the hallway were on a timer and would turn off automatically. No motion detection which meant you’ll need to search for it in total darkness. 1 room key per room and it was kept at the front desk, if you left for 5 minutes: turn in your key, then ask for it again, like a school bathroom hall pass.

Regarding the water I think he meant that you can take the tap water if you wish in the room which is drinkable. Regarding the keys they are always under CCTV so no worries. I regret the issue you had with our key policy, we recommend you leave your key with us but if you wish to keep it you can. It is just to avoid you get pickpocketted in transport or other. Great place. Rye Moffetard was a 5 min walk away for great eating, entertainment and shopping. It is walkable to Norte Dame, st Germaine and the Seine. We even walked to the Lourvd and Musee d’orsy but is was further away than we wanted.

This hotel needs to update it's booking system! It seemed on our arrival that they thought they didn't have a room for us and they almost had to send us to another hotel. Fortunately, they were able to find a room for us. This seemed very strange seeing as thought we booked and paid for this room in full 4 months earlier. Worse than that was when we came to check-out the next morning and the man at the front desk tried to make us pay for the room again. I explained that we had already paid via Expedia and then he became quite rude saying the computer said that we hadn't paid. I was able to show him my Expedia bill and he finally backed down. This experience left us with a really bad feeling about this hotel. It was a shame that their booking system and attitude were so poor, otherwise the hotel was clean, newly renovated, comfortable and well located. The continental breakfast that was included was good with pastries, fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee, juice etc.

This property is in an excellent location. Great for transportation eating etc. Other than having only one small pillow each I would recommend this location. It was great for a single night passing through.

We got a room on the top floor. It was cozy with a pleasant view. The hotel is small, but well maintained and the staff is very nice and helpful. Nice walkable neighborhood, quiet but close to everything. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfy, large shower, windows that open, an elevator, good, hearty breakfast! And a great, safe, location. My only complaint is the pillows were a bit lumpy. Very small "complaint" and probably most people would not notice or care. Overall ,I highly recommend as an affordable, no frills but more than adequate and comfortable hotel in a great location!

Fab location, but the room is "cozy" for family
Great welcoming staff at reception and at breakfast. The room and everything in general was sparkly clean and well looked after. The only challenge was the room that we had looked nothing like the photo and with two adults and a baby's cot you had less than a meter gap around the bed to walk around. The window was small and glum and faced the inner court yard. I would recommend requesting a room facing the street, or that the hotel considers offering more space for families. It was okay for two nights, but it would have been unsustainable for longer.

We exceptionnaly accept babies less than 3 years old, but that does imply having a cot in the room that takes up a little space. Lovely family friendly & clean
Very helpful staff, we emailed before arriving to let them know we would be early and whether we could checkin early. They were so helpful making sure our room was ready for us to settle down quickly. The room was small (typical Paris), and very clean. Room service daily. We requested a cot, it was set up ready for us to use. Very friendly overall.
