"This is a really beautiful place! You feel like you're in the country and yet only about 15 minutes or so drive to Santiago de Compostela. But the best part was how gracious, friendly, and helpful our hosts, Julia and Julio were! Just a precaution if you have a mid to large size car, parking is really tight, but driving around the area, that seems to be the norm so definitely don't let that deter you from staying at this beautiful place!"

"A true 5 star experience! All member’s of staff were very friendly and helpful . Large room, comfortable beds , great bathroom ( with a bath 😁) Tea / coffee making facilities and complimentary water appreciated. Restaurant was excellent- breakfast was wonderful with a huge choice . We stayed here after completing the Camino de Santiago and it was the perfect hotel to relax and restore our energy . "We had a wonderful stay at Hotel San Francisco Monumento. Everything about our experience was excellent. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained, but what really makes this hotel special is the building itself. You genuinely feel as though you are staying inside a piece of history, surrounded by centuries of character and architecture. We absolutely loved that feeling. Staying in such a beautiful historic place was one of the highlights of our time in Santiago de Compostela and made the experience much more memorable than staying in a typical modern hotel. The staff were also extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and we really enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a place we would happily stay at again."
