"Despite the signage and letterheads, this is not a 5-star hotel in our opinion. There are no doormen or bellboys, such staff would be very helpful navigating the 15 or so steep steps from the street to the lobby. There is no complimentary water in the room. The shower is in the bath. Used glasses were not cleaned or replaced. The room is of good size and the beds are comfortable. Location is good."

"Wonderful restful stay with excellent restaurants on site. Excellent staff, always there to assist. My only complaint (and this is a small one) is laundry service. Did not receive laundry back in 24 hours as advertised and had to complain several times about it before receiving it back at 8p (should have been back by 3p). Will definitely stay here again"
