"The hotel was very clean, conveniently located near the station, and definitely worth the price. The staff were also kind and helpful during my stay. The only downside was that the bed felt a bit too narrow and quite soft. I also wish there had been unlimited complimentary tea and coffee available. One small issue was that after housekeeping took the pajamas for laundry, they often forgot to return the obi belt together with them."

"The property was in a very busy part of town, think Times Square if you're familiar with NYC. Lots to do and see around the hotel but a bit crazy. The hotel itself was nice. I enjoyed their lounge area but was disappointed to find we could not go out on the Godzilla deck. For some reason it was closed. Still, the staff was friendly and the lounge offered a nice place to meet up with our other travelers. The room was small but adequate with a cool view of the city at night. Like other hotels we stayed in, they didn't offer room cleaning unless requested and then its a full removal of all sheets and towels. I wish they would offer someone to just come in and make the bed, as someone who always has to do that, I expect when I'm paying for a room that it will be done."

"The hotel is near train stations and very convenient to go anywhere in Tokyo. The room is very clean. We enjoyed hot bath as well. We will book again."

"Clean, efficient and conveniently located near the Yamanote JR line. Even though my window was facing the tracks, I could barely hear any train noise. However despite having many floors, sometimes one elevator is disabled for guests, causing a queue to form during crowded hours. My bed was also a bit sagging in the middle, causing me to have bad neck and shoulder pains throughout the night."

"With the understanding that this property features shared restrooms and showers, and spartan but clean and comfortable rooms, this is a good place to stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and speak English. The hotel is in the very charming neighborhood of Yanaka, and within 10 minutes' walk of two train stations that can get you wherever in Tokyo you need to go."

"Pros: Location of hotel is really good - subway a close walk and really close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Popular spot, i'm donut, is right behind the hotel. Room is clean. Cons: Hotel interior and room furnishings are outdated and the lighting is dim. Bedside only has one outlet available on one side - other outlets available throughout the room but not in the most handy of spots."

"I visit Japan regularly and having arrived in Tokyo this hotel is welcome pitstop that ticks all the boxes as a tourist. Clean, small rooms very thoughtfully designed with the traveller in mind. Despite other reviews stating that the air conditioning is centrally controlled throughout the property this is not the case. There is a control panel built in to the bed headboard, and along with the room lighting dimmer switches there is a touch panel that controls the in-room temperature and air-conditioning fan speed. Breakfast buffet is fine, served in a small Izakaya attached to reception. Will stay again."
