"This rental is ,by far, the best well equipped rental that we have ever rented in the last 30 years. There is nothing that we did not have or want. The location is top notch and beautiful. Huge grounds with plenty of fruit and coconut trees. Flowers are abundant, and the setting is gorgeous .The inside is equipped with two tv's and video player along with cd movies. The beds are absolutely comfortable, especially for one with multiple back surgeries.The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glass ware and utensils. Cupboards and drawers contain everything from soup to nuts including super glue and bug spray. The outside garage storage is where you will find beach accessories, snorkeling equipment and more.On the front porch are a couple of hammocks, chairs, tables and a gas BBQ. Off one of the bedrooms is another covered porch with chairs and table.This is also the resting place of Mango, the cat. What a character she is. very loving, independent and smart. Not quite sure where she normally lives but there is a good supply of food for her at the house in the back garage/covered area.There is also , in that area, a washer and dryer. Both work great.The house is absolutely clean and there are plenty of towels, etc.House is easy to find if you remember: From Hilo to hwy 11 S. Turn East on 130. Go about 1/2 mi past 13 mile marker and turn left into Leilani Estates. The road the place is on is about a mile East down Leilani ave, on the right. Then two houses down on right."

"The house is lovely. The host was very responsive to all communication before and during our stay. We would definitely stay there again."

"It was perfect for, my mom, sister and me. The only thing is the screen door in front was not sliding right so it was a little difficult to get in and out. Also it was a little out of the way for doing the Shaka guided tours because almost all of it started on the Kona side. Oh and the ice cube trays. You have a full size refrigerator with little mini ice cube trays. Other than those two things about the cottage everything was perfect for us! Thank you so very much for letting us stay there!!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this huge home.. The large kitchen Is a good place to cook meals together and the yard was the perfect place to enjoy them. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked well. There are AC units in the lower bedrooms, many ceiling fans and moveable standing fans for other places in the house. It’s a good place for multiplecouple or families to spend time together."

"We had a great time and stay at this place. Everything went very smoothly. We were even able to check-in a little earlier than 4:00 pm, which we especially appreciated after a long drive. The property was very nice and easy to find. It was much bigger than we ended up needing due to one of our party members cancelling on us. It’s furnished well-enough for what we needed. It’s not super fancy or boogie by any means, but it had everything we needed. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention a few improvement items. First thing is, the lack of air conditioning. I knew about it when I booked it, I just failed to remember and remind my family, lol. There are a good number of fans available to help with cooling down. Second, I would’ve liked to have had blackout curtains instead of vertical blinds in the bedrooms, just adds a better sense of privacy, in my opinion. Lastly, the only cleanliness issue I had was finding a couple dead cockroaches in the bedroom. To me this was not that big of an issue, living in Hawaii, you just can’t escape the mo’o and' the roaches. In fact I was pleasantly surprised to not have had to dodge any mosquitos while we were there. In conclusion, I just want to share how grateful we were to have been able to enjoy this beautiful property. We were blessed beyond belief to have found such a gem of a place to stay. Especially for the price, it’s a great value! We had wonderful time and would definitely stay there again for future excursions. Mahalo nui loa"

"Beds are so comfortable. Lovely grounds , spa is great with hot tub and sauna that you can reserve for private time. Birds can be noisy but you get used to them and actually look forward to hearing and seeing them around the property. "

"The house, appliances, dishes, bedding were clean and relatively new--very nice! We had to drive at least a half hour to get to Hilo "beaches" as there wasn't ocean access for anything except viewing nearby. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the local restaurants in Pahoa, found hiking trails nearby and explored the volcano Kilauea after a 45 minute drive. "
