"The hotel is old and quaint. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. Our host Elizabeth was wonderful, attentive and concerned for us as we had had a rough day getting there, fire in Ouray had a divert around from Silverton so our trip took us 4 extra hours to get there. Then we got a flat tire,Elizabeth met us at the door at 8 pm with a smile and chocolate chip cookies. Would recommend the inn."

"Overall it was a really enjoyable stay at the Matterhorn. It was quiet, the rooms were clean and well appointed, and there were plenty of great restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The only thing I think prospective visitors need to know is that while it is a resort town, it looked like there was only one bar open past 10pm. All the other shops/restaurants close around 9pm or so. Other than that, the stay was amazing and the mountain views were absolutely stunning!"
