Dining around the hotel closes early. A lot of restaurants and oubs are within walking distance but only a select few are open past 9pm except for pubs. Parking at the hotel incurs a fee which is not mentioned on their website.

Really enjoyed my 4-night stay here! The staff, breakfast, room, location and price make this hotel a great option for visiting Ottawa. The STAFF here are warm and welcoming! Got some great restaurant recommendations. The hotel is close to lots of food places and even has free room service from a restaurant next door. The BREAKFAST selection is really diverse: fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, coffee, water, juice, cereal, etc. This "mini" SUITE was huge: three sets of closets, a full kitchen, full bathroom, dining table, reclining couch, queen-sized bed, huge TV with lots of cable channels and a full work desk setup with a computer and a printer with unlimited printing. Only con was the AC was pretty loud but I was grateful for it nonetheless in the midst of a heat wave!

We were told that the front desk was staffed 24 hrs and they would be able to call a taxi for us at 3:30 am. We discovered there was no staff at that time and sign on desk said "back in 5 minutes" We waited 15 minutes but no staff appeared. We also tried phoning but got no answer.
